I just put my new DR Bootzilla apparently benefiting from the same technology as the color coated strings extra life.
The sound is great, very sharp hardly heard the dull sound of the low E string to own "coated"
At levels of playability AC hangs a little bit. A little less smooth than the strings untreated.
The weak point is the lifetime of a few hours of gameplay are enough to gloss fades. As the days and hours pass more gloss disappears like any set of strings would you say to me, only then these strings are treated and their lifespan should be extended significantly and this is not really the case. I think they had barely longer than their untreated counterparts. Which is a shame given the qualitée sound at first.
