Although I let my original comment below (which dates back a little ...), Amok brings eclairsissements perhaps particularly interesting about the product on points that I found. In addition the product is certainly evolving (soft. ..) so there must be many changes. (Well hopefully)
For my part, I ended my struggle with this product, I'm spent on a DM2000V2, that's different.
and I do not compare the m'avanturais yamha and Mackie (product of comparable range)

OVERALL OPINION
Service: in case of default Mackie replaced by a new (that is what I was saying on the phone) and I insist it is absolutely FALSE. I approved consoles exchanges in terrible shape (photos support!). Clearly, you exchange your console for a problem, you will receive another (with a little luck your problem is solved), but it is likely to have other worries.
For a product to Euro 6500 is totally pathetic.
Conclusion: too bad because the console is great, but the details are in my opinion a console or not to buy 3000 euros and then you make the mods yourself.
one thing is certain, if I were to buy a new one that I saw, heard (ventillo) and tested (output table ,....)
On a positive note: the contact Mackie, you have a person on the phone who is interested in your concerns. But the investigations have their limitations.
