Winter NAMM 2012 News
I finally upgraded this unit because I outgrew it, simply for that reason alone. I didn't have any issues with it other than that I wanted something bigger. However for the year or so I did use it I never had a complaint. And it never messed up or took any damage. It feels very solid by the way. It's not a fancy unit, but it does a great jo...
I like this mixer for its portability and basic, bare bones functionality. The overall quality is probably a little less than what an experienced dj would want, but it does the job and certainly would not prevent one from rocking the dance floor if one were forced to use it at a gig. My first ever mixer was a barebones numark (it didn't even hav...
I bought it new in 2005. In the beginning, I liked the FX processor with its jog wheel but the effects became boring so I don't use them anymore. I already owned two other Numark mixers (DM3050 and DMX09). I tried out Gemini, Technics and Eclerc mixers. Gemini products provide the same quality as Numark. Technics and co. are muc...
Don't buy it unless you're buying mine, which doesn't come out from its box anymore.
Its not great, but its the only mixer I have. The X-fader is starting to show its age now, and its not really a scratch mixer. I would definately consider Numark again, but one of thier higher-end mixers. Originally posted on FutureProducers.com Posted by: Unknown ( 7-, 2003)

Since I can't really compare it to anything else I don't know how much I love it. When I get a new mixer. I will know if I miss my Numark. Originally posted on FutureProducers.com Posted by: Unknown (January 1-, 2003)
Its alot of fun to mess around with, great for newbies, enough to keep you busy for a while, but not something you'd sleep with like say a Rane ttm56i Originally posted on FutureProducers.com Posted by: Unknown ( 6-, 2002)
I like it, can't say I love it. I really like the fx theyre really fun to mess around with. The cross fader is really smooth and light, hope that keeps up. It is laid out well, you dont need a munual you just know how to work it right away. But... Some things like the knobs look really plasticy, and they try to make em look metal, why not just u...
It's a bit different and I like that. I really do feel let down by the effects 'toggle' stick/switch and the quick wearing faders so I can't say 'i love it' but you could certainly do alot worse. Originally posted on FutureProducers.com Posted by: a_cuts ( 6-, 2005)
