I use this controller for about 4 months ... and this choice I would do without hesitation.
The specifics I like most are the robustness and manageability (perfect control Traktor).
The ones I like least: the fact that it comes without power supply (only USB), for the price it is ugly .... and the fact that the joystick does not allow to move from right to left to navigate the tree to explore ...

Besides that the organization is well thought out and fairly intuitive .... it is also possible to change the mapping to customize the controls (easy to do ...)
The TR1 is a real mixer device that allows full use Traktor .... and it's a real pleasure

Value for money: this controller is not given but it looks good and sturdy ... to see the long term ..... this is not a "toy" like most USB controller .....

I bought this little gem soon 3 months ago. Ultra simple installation and use. Reliable and quality finish, Vestax thank you! Each buddy dj around me who loved it tested! In one hour with minimal prerequisites and mix in one computer has everything it takes to mix four hours in a row by taking the new Dave Clarke: o) These are not the same sensations of touch Vinyl yes, but frankly it's so fluid and intuitive as it focuses only on effects while being able to follow up the tracks at a breakneck pace, the total growing!

Small negative points though:
- Lack of a warning light at the faders and why no one saw the master meter
- I would have liked a crossfader still
- I would like to resume many of the new vestax controller s4 of native instruments but with the exceptional build quality and robustness to its name.

I found this great console until an improved version within a year or two correcting small flaws that I found today. In any case this dj console is not a toy and can mix like a god while being easily transportable in the evenings.

I use it since April 2010 (NI 4 and audio dj traktor pro)

I mix on turntables for 8 years and I switched to the Vestax VCI-100 for 3 years.
I tried the TR1 in a mate and I just loved it, the jog wheels do not really miss, the cross fader by missing a few cons.
So I decided to buy it and I do not regret it. Well it's aesthetically beautiful (it's vestax ..). It's really not a toy.
I quickly embarked on a mapping (to wedge a piece with precision as with jog wheel and it's perfect).

What I like most is the quality and minimum size to mix in the evening.
You can really make good stuff has already provided a set but also improvise.

What I like least is the lack of cross fader.

The vestax TR1 is not given (for we must add a sound card) but the quality is there ...
Yes I would do without hesitation that choice, but I will perhaps ruin me for the S4 of native (to see) to sample.
