Biggest Ever Audio Mixing Contest is ON!
I bought mine used for $130 with no case. That may be the best $130 I've ever spent. This guitar is fantastic for the money. I also have an Ibanez AS73 6 string that is a wonderful guitar too. Ibanez just knows how to make good guitars that are not expensive............and they do it well!
This is a fantastic instrument, bar none. This could be a perfect choice for all but the absolutely most discriminating world-class pro, and most of those guys are picky enough to play their own signature models anyways! I am a huge fan of this bass, and I would highly recommend any bassist of any experience level to check it out. Overall a 10, ...
This bass is a great instrument. It tends to balance a bit neck heavy on the strap, but it's not too bad. Playability-wise, this can do any technique well, so it gets high marks from me on that. And sonically, this bass is a great choice, no matter on stage or in the studio, and no matter what style. It doesn't hurt that this bass is a very good...
The Ibanez Soundgear Series SR305 Iron Pewter is great bang for your buck if you're looking for a decent 5 string bass. It's pretty easy to play and has a decent enough sound to get by for playing shows for sure. It's not an ideal bass for recording because it doesn't have the fullest sound, but if it was your only choice you could get away wi...
I'm giving this perfect tens for the price point. No matter what style one plays, this bass could be a perfect addition to the bass rig. The low B is very tight and doesn't sound flabby, and the SR605 overall looks fantastic, feels fantastic, plays fantastic, and sounds fantastic. It IS fantastic! Enough said!
If you find one on the used market and are looking for a good bass, this is it! Great sounds and playability make for a smooth, hassle-free instrument. This bass provides a lot of fun for very little dough, and is still a good professional quality bass guitar. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone. I just want to find a 5 string version now!
The price of this bass cannot be beaten. For what you pay for it even new, it's totally awesome. However, most professionals nowadays are willing to shell out more money for stuff, so I would say that they should look farther up on the price range for a newer, better bass, or perhaps a good old vintage bass. There's really not much here that sho...
These basses are pretty rare and I think I know why. People who own them love them so they never want to sell them. Ibanez should reissue this bass with the same exact specs. People would be buying them nonstop. This is a great example on how good a reasonably priced modern bass can be. So many bassists think you gotta pay thousands of dollars f...
This is a review of the Paul Gray signature bass put out by Ibanez. Paul Gray was the late great bassist for Slipknot. First impressions where this bass reminds me much of the ATK series basses by Ibanez. It has the same body and headstock design. Chances are if you liked the ATKs you'll like this bass I tested t...
Overall, this is a cool bass. Inexpensive and sounds great. While it's maybe not the best choice for any player, it's certainly capable of some great tones for almost any genre. For the price, it's hard to beat if you're looking for a big, full tone. If you're playing slap, this is one of the best sounding basses I've heard, espe...
