Bought this bass off one of my friends, for 350 bucks and that came with strap and and a Trace Elliot Boxer 15 amp. This is used.

This bass is great. It's got a nice green finish and a pretty good neck. Not really fast, but good for beginners.

The action is a bit high but that can be fixed. And I wish the pickups were two single coils instead of one split.

I had to get the head stock repaired because of cracks by the tuners, but that was not from the factory errors, it was because the other person who had it didn't take very good care. Oh well it only costed me 40 bucks.

Very sturdy and very light. Not a lot of sustain but like I said good for beginners and good for the price.

Get this bass if you are beginning or advanced. It's great, not heavy and very comfortable sitting or standing.

Purchased at Side's music in Williamsport as part of a "beginner's combo" package. Separately priced around $230. It was a 2000 Christmas purchase.

With the tone control "off" it has a very mellow, somewhat flat (which I like) sound.
Although simple in design the guitar is solidly constructed, has no blemishes, and plays cleanly. It tunes easily and keeps its tune despite hard use.

The tone control when turned up only adds unwanted string noise and/or feedback or other distortion. I play every weekend and have never used the tone feature.

I would rate the construction and quality of the unit as excellent. No dings, scratches, filings, or any manufacturer's marks of any kind. the finish is attractive, although the basic black color fogs up in use sometimes. (I would opt for a natural finish next time) It holds its tuning well.

A good "acoustic sounding" electric bass. I could have done better on the price. Highly recommended for a beginner. I appreciate the lefty option.

I purchased my yamaha bass from the local music hardware store in muscat oman. i acquired this bass because it was a comfy hold and all my firnds have elctric guitars so i thought it would be useful to have a bass around. i paid 95 rials. which is about $350.

I enjoy its comfy position when sitting and its sound quality is superb. When standing the bass sits nicely and is easy nad quick to play.

i dislike the long "arm" at the top end of the body.

the construction is very good, with 25 frets and an unusaly shaped bbody the quality is also very good.

overall the yamaha RBX 260 series electric bass is a thoroughly enjoyable instrument to play.

The RBX, made in Japan, has 24 frets on a Bolt Mount Alder
The Yamaha also has a split passive type micro precision and an easel "Vintage ..."
Level pots, the minimum required, a tonal and 1volume it all!

UTILIZATION

The neck is huge, passes the 12th fret should be a professional to play correctly. This one is as low as comfortable when you walk on hot coals.

I prefer the sound with this bass when it is unplug it!

I have used for 2 years due to lack of means, but the ds first opportunity I have to find a good press for him crtin reforguer the 3 / 4 of its original price!

Japanese Version of very good quality. 3 years I has traveled a bit but the wood has not moved an inch.

Micro level: a single precision.
A button and a volume like this Tone is not bored with all reglgaes.
How many of you enjoys a micro switch on their bass or guitar?

UTILIZATION

Channel trs pleasant and jumbo frets are good.
24 Frets with easy access to high notes. Even if it's used up just when it can be nice.

The advantage is a short handle not need to go for the FA so far.

In weight it is enjoyable gone, and it is relatively light which avoids breaking his back and neck on stage.

SOUNDS

Low-level style goes everywhere.
I played on the acoustic, the Hughes and Kettner and the carvin, I always got a good sound. Please note this is not a bass with a typical sound, but it is doing little prs in all styles (from pop to hard rock).
In gnral I prefried sounds good round.

OVERALL OPINION

I have 7 years, I used it in RPET and live for 5 years, I keep deuxime still low.
Trs good bass pure beginners, it's a choice I do it again without a problem, especially with an excellent price-quality ratio. I have changed that to an old couraging rve (have a Jazz Bass Fender).

I confirm guitarist and I find the long run! oh yes it is a low, not to worry super easy access to acute and pleasant handle. There's 2 sounds easily adjust buttons.

This is a surprisingly great bass guitar. I do not know where it was manufactured. It has two pickups, with a tone knob and volume knob. The bridge and neck are nothing special, just the standard types. The neck is a dark hardwood.

UTILIZATION

This bass plays great. The neck has a very nice feel, the body is lightweight and nicely shaped to make it comfortable to play sitting or standing. It has a large cut-out, so access to the top frets is very easy. When recording bass, I usually put this through the DI on my Avalon AD2022 preamp, and it sounds great.

SOUNDS

I use this bass in my studio and let clients use it. It has found its way into a large variety of genres very well. I usually just go DI with it, in lieu of using a bass amp. You have to kind of find the sweet spot on the tone control - personally I find it's best around the middle slightly leaning toward the bassier end. When you put this in a mix, maybe compress it, but it hardly needs EQ. It's powerful and has plenty of low end while still cutting through. On either extreme end with the tone knob, it's hard to get it sounding right, but again, the tone knob is there so use it well. I love this bass for recording. For the price, you wouldn't expect it to sound so good.

OVERALL OPINION

I've been using this bass for about 3 years. I love the low price/great sound value of this thing, and the fact that you don't need to do much to it most of the time in a recording to get it sitting right. I've tried a bunch of other basses, this is one of my favorites. The value is fantastic, if you're in the $500 range, this is a great bet. I'd definitely get one again.
