DOD FX7 Multi-Effects Guitar Processor
Published on 01/09/04 at 15:00Initially I borrowed it from a friend and found it so good that I bought it from him for £120 as he hadnt got to grips with the programing as he had lost the instructions booklet.
With some careful selections of chorus you can get some nice sounds of Pink Floyd or U2 and also the Heavy distortion as well if you choose. You can also select the same sounds on the 3 different pads within a bank but set the volume different so you can switch volume by foot during a song.
You can step up through the program banks by foot but you cannot go back. So once you have clicked forward, to go back you have to keep stepping on through the 9 banks until you get there again.

The unit is gigged and is robust for my use, but I have treated it with respect.
I have kept it as found some good sounds in this unit and good and I have found it has many choices of sound and is simpler to use than some other pedals on the market.
Once you play around with the sounds and get to know it, I have found it to be an excellent unit for the Rock scene.

DOD FX7
Published on 07/06/01 at 15:00i found the dod fx7 at a local music store in Newmarket for 100$ used.
I bought the pedal for it's delay and heavy distortion and fuzz. The pedal
kicks a#@.
I love the 9 user bank and 90 presets. I can store all my own sounds in diffrent
banks for differant songs. I like some of the wierd effects for korn and bizkit.
I hate the way the pedal is made out of hard plastic because u have to be carefull
not to step on the pedals to hard like i did, and break one of them. Other than
that it is great.
The effects are amazing,
The banks and presets are great,
The scroll wheel is cool and faster,
The led lights really help to see when dark.

The fx7 is all around for effect, sound, and quality, however if this item broke i would
probobly get a differant effects board.

DOD FX-7
Published on 06/25/01 at 15:00I purchased it about 5 yrs ago at the Guitar Center,Sherman Oaks. Price:$200 running Condition:good quality of effects:good
I enjoy the distortion and the chorus channels. There are 30 programmable effects.
The detune/pitch in effects group and the gate are the low quality parts. Sounds like shit if plugged into a Fender strat, unless it has active pickups.
Well, It's a 3"x2" product. Has purple and blue sticker on it.Sounds great through any solid state or tube amp.
This product sounded excellent when I purchased it. But I didn't use it as much as my fuzz unit. The Hyper Fuzz sounds great with a strat. Anyway,I've been using often now. I recommend it for playing live.
