This is a multi effects pdalier effects so that simulates 75 simultanment 4. See other reviews for more details. To quibble, I'll just say it lacks a qualizer and a pitch shifter.
UTILIZATION
This pdalier is super easy to use. Each switch is assignable effects, with 5 knobs for the different CONTRL parameter. CRER can up to 12 configurations diffrent is more than enough. Being able to connect 1 or 2 expression pedals Fawn Whereas multiplies the possibilities of pdalier (for example, you can "simulate" a whammy with Growl).
SOUND QUALITY
I use a Mexican Fender Start and a Squier Jazz bass standard branch on my POD Studio GX (with a boss and a vry baby DS2). The distos are gniales. I have a preferences for Scremaer and Tube Drive. The Pi Fuzz (Big Muff) is trsrussi. The possibility of rgler bass, treble and mdiums for each distos is a real plus, because a low makes them adaptable. Personally, I use the Fuzz Pi j'obtient of excellent results. The modulations are superb. The analog chorus (boss that 1) is terrible, the phaser, flanger and tremolo are just as compelling. Mention specially the pitch vibrato, a real bomb The delays are impressive trs, trs hovering, a true Russianness. The reverbs are also effective trs. Finally the filters are gniaux. The obi wah seeker and make me trip MuTron The Up position with my groovy bass is trs, trs funky, I love. The looper, I did not test too but I seem to be a great slaughter.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for a week. I recommend anyone who does not want to ruin by buying vintage analog effects. Moreover, whether on guitar or bass, it's a real killing. Line 6 has hit a home run with this pdalier, j'espre it will continue to do so, and that competition will bring them too. EDIT 12/10/2009: comes with the M9, Line 6 has used to put the M13 days. On the menu, pitch shifter, equalizer, wah 8 as well as new modules are added the standard collection of effects of M13. With expression pedals, the effect of "whammy" is nickel. In short, an excellent multi effects, period.
