BBE Sonic Maximizer 482

I own a BBE Stomp Sonic pedal, 462,362 and 482.
Many folks use the Sonic Maximizer for studio mixing and fine tuning recordings , but I love using them in my racks, effects loops of my amps, effects loops of my Digitech RP-1, Digitech 2112's effects loop and between my two effects processors on my pedalboard.

What does a Sonic Maximizer do ?
It does phase alignment on you audio sources, it does a time / phase alignment of your sound before it reaches your speaker.
First the treble frequencies come out, the mids are not affected and the lower bass frequencies.
And the results amazing, a clean, clear and more detailed sound comes out of the speakers .

Wah Wahs are more dynamic, Modulations are more 3 dimensional sounding, Delay and Reverbs sound more detailed.

Set the knobs at 12 o'clock and then proceed to do adjustments according to what you want to sounde like and you'll be amazed .

Device very simple and quick start. Indpendants 2 processors each with inputs and outputs and RCA jack asymtriques. Rglage Lo Contour and Process for each channel with view of nitre-5 LEDs in switch / bypass power switch facade. Only default: the cable of power supply sector is fixed.

UTILIZATION

The rglages consistently hear is very simple.

SOUND QUALITY

Then the hat! I use the end of the chain rack bass amplification, and yet I have the beautiful stuff (EBS Fafner, EBS410, Alembic), but I think not being able to do without. Is your exact poustouflant is as if I had removed the balls Quills. The bass are deeper while increasing clarity the joint is excellent and can lead to acute and brightness to the delight of all slappeur! I had a synth in just to see, and again, the sound grows, of the presence, s'amliore what! Impressive and nothing to do with the type Exciters Aphex Type C is a particular effect BBE. Good dynamic, not at the top of breath! Some may say that the maximizers BBE sound a bit metallic, but I rtorque that they do not have to push the process (acute) back

OVERALL OPINION

I bought it on eBay rcemment a good price and did not exprience with a big, but I worked as ingson in a lot of big studios in Paris, and I knew immediately that the 482 will not leave my rack so tt. FYI, the 482 is identical to the 482i in terms of technique, only the changes look on the "i" that come to replace the non "i". There must be quite a bargain if you do not fix the look of the product.

There is no need for manual, is a RULES ear.

SOUND QUALITY

Eheh, I plug in for more ease but I bought the physical version is exactly the same sound, all music becomes clearer and prcise. Ingmar adjacent said everything

OVERALL OPINION

Apareil unique touch you there when you can do without. it's expensive for what it is for against, it was for that I bought during the same site and is immediately more profitable!
