What characteristics have motivated your choice?
The number of input and output, the reputation of the motu converters for year / na. Firewire cable to connect to my macbook. But especially the size and therefore the possibility of easily take out of my home studio.
With which instruments or systems (console, preamp, DtD ...) you use it and how connections? ...
Firstly it served as my motherboard connected to my mac and my monitor speakers. Then she allowed me to work with the hardware and now it allows me to increase my output of my focusrite to an analog console.

It is still in service returned after a year. They sent me a brand new after a long battle with the VAS. Since no worries. I think yau fake contact Firewire who grilled so be careful!

I've had one week, been using it for 2 days after nights of hard to understand the concerns of his that I (sometimes closer to pink noise as music dla ...). Qd a walk, the air ringing aa lot for that price. I worked on pro tools HD is on when it's not the same mm but for ptites config is sufficient. To see if the chaining works, can become a very interesting (16 analog inputs / outputs for 1200 euros, the average price dla Digi002). If you're a little handy and you will know a little computer / sound, for beginners I would recommend the Digi002 but this is only my opinion ... Preamp Premire seem nice view, virtually no latency so far, comes with soft very clear. Just what worries firewire very restrictive, but once rolling rgler any a priori
