Pedal with two types of reverb, spring and modern, and two possible settings: decay and depth. I'm pretty sure it's all digital.
On paper this is exactly what I need, a simple pedal but still providing two types of reverb really different.

With two buttons it's hard to take the lead ...

SOUND QUALITY

I'll do mode by mode:

spring fashion: the pedal is supposed to reproduce a spring reverb, which it does quite well (sisi, you really hear the springs as if we had a fucking kick in the amp). Having said that the effect is quite discreet in putting depth until 12am and when we want to grow a little by turning the depth (decay thoroughly to hear well), he eventually eat outright signal, the overall volume s' found in significantly decreased, and the product look like a dude beating up his amp (with its spring reverb) 15km away.
Never had a real spring reverb, I said that maybe the engineers trex pushed up the vice reproduce the defects of this type of reverb? In any case, looking for pretty extreme sounds, I did anyway never knew what to make of this mode despite having tested all possible configs (hey, it's true, I took only 10min).
on the other hand ...

the modern way: there was a clear but alive anyway reverb with a small side "dark" (as I think I've read above), the knobs fulfill their role: the decay plays well on the duration of effect and the depth knob on the room size, ranging from reverb simulating a small room (kind ROOM) to reverb simulating a cathedral. The depth to bottom, the sound is anyway well embedded but not displease me.
With both settings, we get a fairly impressive range, always with this dark look that I love.
But! Because there is a but, the more you shoot the effect, whether with the decay or the depth, the greater the chance to SATURATING PEDAL!
I use behind a aria pro II two humbuckers and when I send him a big full bass chord with the neck pickup and it saturates well! And a distortion upstream is worse ...
So, I did not use that no more than 12h on two knobs which was quite frustrating, or play the splitted microphones to reduce the output level of my guitar, time to spare ...

But I liked his little dark side and I kept it anyway and now she serves effect on my mixer on which I can easily manage the output levels. And there is happiness, she fucks a large and dirty murky atmosphere on all instruments. Special mention of the BAR.

I would put 2 for the spring and eight for the modern. What makes 5/10

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for over a year now, I had not tried before simulations of multi-effects and it surpasses widely, at least in modern mode. I love his dark side and spatial simulation very realistic and I hate the fact that saturates so fast especially for a pedal that is not really low end! Just to have not tried a lot, I'm pretty sure we can find an equivalent in the same price, with perhaps a workable spring and a pedal that accepts more input level but who knows?

So I am anyway mixed on this pedal is a kind of love story / hate that is played there and maybe once I will have left, I would discover that it is anyway much better elsewhere! Go in doubt, I put it a good 6 because I like it anyway ...

This digital reverb pedal is as simple as one can imagine:
- Battery power or 9v (small hatch a single finger can open)
- Input / output
- A footswitch to enable / disable the effect (pretty sweet, without any 'click') and a led
- 'decay' knob (duration of effect)
- 'depth' knob (from a shoebox to a tiled cavern)
- small 'modern' / 'spring' switch
- A metal box with a pastel yellow color that combines well with the fake bakelite of my amp

UTILIZATION

No license needed to use this pedal. it is quite trivial and that's the main reason for what I choosed it. I did not want to spend hours on settings.

Note that the pedal comes in a small neat box, with a clear and concise manual suggesting some examples of settings: not a big deal for t-rex and the Customer feels like existing and being considered.

SOUND QUALITY

I have a single channel amp with no reverb effect nor integrated loop, I just wanted something to "moisten" my sound : I'm not disappointed.
The decay and depth settings are quite progressive allow an interesting range of reverb sounds for those who want to get it fast.
The pedal is not transparent, according to the setting and the type of guitar:
- 'spring' mode : the sound is a slightly scooped and the decay / depth settings are very progressive
- 'modern' mode : is a bit more focused on trebble though global eq sounds a little flatter. Spring and decay settings are more pronounced.
Globally, bass and mids attenuation seems more pronounced with humbuckers than with single coils. Anyhow, the pedals gives a little bit of life to the sound. It surely doesn't turn to be clinical.

OVERALL OPINION

I have this pedal for 1 week and I have not tried other reverb (I have tried those integrated in Vox or Mesa amps).
For the price, it meets my needs in terms of sound and ease of use, all in a light and pretty looking solid metal case.
Taking into account the previous reviews, I also bought a filtered power supply and there is no hum when it's on.
The tone and the effects don't behave the same way according to the mode ('modern' or 'spring'), you have to proceed to a new setting when switching from one mode to the other.
I appreciate this easy to use pedal and both of it's two modes. However, extreme settings are not my "cup of tea", especially for the 'depth' which then drowns the sound in a cavernous blur (some may still like it, it's still musical).
For less than 100 euros, I can buy it again if needed.

I bought this pedal for use ONLY LIVE WITH ANALOG SYNTH, in addition to an echo pedal (Danelectro Wasabi) 6 months ago. I play psychedelic rock.
I was looking for a pedal that can drown my sound in a huge reverb sound and a nasty crash (it's a bit silly and extreme, but I'm a bit stupid and extreme) while being capable of more subtlety.

At first it was mad love. With my Korg MS20 and acid sounds that I used, I liked his contributions dark and inviting all at once. I think this synth was well highlighted.
But I changed my synth for live and I went on a little phatty.Le moog keyboard sound is punchy, a bit fatter, but much cleaner and smoother. And then I think the reverb does not serve much and is even less pleasant compared to my echo adjusted in their slap echo. Pedal drown my instrument more than it highlights in soft settings, and used with extreme settings, it was a very unpleasant loss of volume.
More importantly, the delicate sounds of the Moog are found to saturate so not very musical when she is engaged. And that, that happens at all.

So, since one or two months, it clutters my pedal board that I do not use it. It now remains at home to accompany her boyfriend and my little guitar MS20, with whom she gets along much better.

To redo this choice is a complicated issue. I keep it for the MS20, but for the phatty, I orienterai to an extreme reverb without saturation or loss of volume.Ou a delay / reverb spring of very good quality.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 6 months. I used quite a few others before reverb: small Danelectro all rotten, very cool boss, electro harmonix funny and rather stylish and whatever else.
What's on, is that not have not gone around the issue.

What I like most is its ease of use, strength (a real tank!), The small switch that can switch from one extreme to effect a more subtle effect.
For sound, I like his character a little violent, but very warm and tormented.
One little problem, if you search a little clean sound, it does saturate. Not glop (ATTENTION GUITARIST FRIEND, I CAN SPEAK FOR SYNTHE NO GUITAR, I HAVE NO IDEA OF HOW IT REACTS WITH YOUR INSTRUMENT).

Bought 150 euros in my music store. Value priced.
With experience, I orienterai to a delay or a spring reverb. For live performances, this is not the purpose I needed.

For cons, I keep it for the studio!

I was looking for a simple rverbe rgler I can as I want. I test with a Digitech Digiverb prrgls modes, but most did not. It's like a volume knob Crant when you have the choice between 2 or 3 and want to put 2.5 ... can not, it sucks!

L can rgler as you will, of the chamber, to the bathroom at the station hall, the church, the cathedral, the caves of Padirac .. you can do anything.

I shuddered dja costing just vidos on youtube, the sound of that really attracted me rverb ear and once in my hands, it's nirvana!

I rather play with a guitar in the spring for a lgre rverbe, and rather in a modern mandolin to play Baroque music and traditional feel of playing in a large room chateau m Dival ... it's up!

In addition I love the look and color that reminds me of the Chevrolet Bel Air 1950 (dja said I was somewhere else, but it's true that the look is superb)

Small note for future buyers: The photos show the knobs often completely smooth with just a black dot on it to show where the position of the button. This is what I have, but I think it's the old version because the version I reurcemment Tonebug Overdrive that she has the star handle (I think it is a said as a), and a sort of dark red Arrows whose line descends along the button. And the site of T-rex, new photos are like a. I thought it was ugly at dpart, but use it more visually to see rglages standing, and there is less risk of slipping fingers on the buttons to turn them. So be careful if you buy without seeing the picture but just MODEL gnrique you may be surprises ..

OVERALL OPINION

I highly recommend that anyone who pedals not want to be stuck in the select rverbe prfaites.

If c'tait again, I do it again this choice without hsiter.

Reverb pedal with two modes: Modern and spring (vintage), adjustments of depth and intensity.
Boss type 9V DC power supply or battery.
Connectors on the top of the foot: a big plus to fit easily into a pedalboard!
Also the pedal is aesthetically very beautiful!

Very simple:
Modern mode is more pronounced and flatter.
The way Spring is softer and typed spring reverb.
I use almost entirely personal mode Spring.

In two cases we get sounds very beautiful and musical.
I let almost tjs aluminum even with very fine adjustments and embellished my sound, something is missing when I shut it off!
Essential for all integrated amps without reverb!

OVERALL OPINION

The price may be low compared with the competition but I think the T Rex has declined recently.
For 2 times more expensive, you will not necessarily two times better!
I am very pleased with this choice and I do it again without hesitation.
I think it is a great product in its price range.
It seems very robust and is not ready to let go of you!

UTILIZATION

Very easy to use, it takes all time spent a little time to find the desired sound.

SOUND QUALITY

The sound is very realistic especially in "spring" much cleaner than that found in spring reverb amps midrange.
I like the way less "modern" which sounds quite dark and tends to make the sound a bit too flat for my taste, but the T-Rex at least the merit of offering two styles of reverb in a pedal.

OVERALL OPINION

I tried a few models Boss, got 2.3 amps with reverb built but nothing competitive with the T-Rex.
Good value for money.
