The original uses 4 photocells Univibe Surrounding a pulsating light source to Deliver and Recognizable icts very unique sound ... a thick chorus / vibrato effect kind of starting off with a slow watery swirl kind Becoming gradually more 'alive' as the speed knob is Manipulated resulting and clockwise in a machine-gun 'type warble around the 9 o'clock setting.
Our Aim to Achieve WAS the original sound of the Univibe, HAVING always have reference year Univibe Original '69.
The result: We dare you to compare it With Any Univibe on the market, Even year original!
It is made with the original transistors and carbon comp resistors 2SC828!

Sound Quality
I do not have the original to compare. I have not had any other clone Univibe hands to compare. All I can say is that this pedal is captivating. You want to leave permanently engage, and play Floyd thoroughly. It brings roundness to the sound, like something creamy flowing ...
It is in the pure premium analog.
No breath.
I put 9/10, because when too low on the depth of the effect, you lose bass I think. This is probably due to the design, to be closer than the loan Univibe 60s.

Je n'ai pas l'original pour comparer. Je n'ai pas non plus eu d'autres clone d'univibe entre les mains pour comparer. Tout ce que je peux dire, c'est que cette pédale est envoutante. On a envie de la laisser enclencher en permanence, et de jouer des Floyd à fond. Ca apporte de la rondeur au son, comme quelque chose de crémeux qui coule ...
On est dans du pur haut de gamme analogique.
Pas de souffle.
Je mets 9/10, car lorsqu'on descend trop bas la profondeur de l'effet, on perd des basses je trouve. C'est probablement dû à la conception, pour se rapprocher au plus prêt de l'univibe des années 60.

C'est certes un effet qu'il faut aimer, mais lorsqu'on l'aime, c'est une pédale à avoir.
Elle est chère, mais y a des composants rares à l'intérieur ...
J'avoue avoir craqué, putain c'est cher. Mais il me suffit de l'enclencher pour oublier la douleur du bruit des touches sur l'appareil à CB du magasin.
