Novation Remote 25 SL MkII - moosers
The Novation Remote 25 SL MkII is among the best MIDI controllers of this size that I've used. It also comes in 49 and 61 key models, so don't let the size of this model deter you. It's pretty much the perfect MIDI controller for anyone who wants a ton of control and options to work with, but if you're after a simple controller, this isn't it....

I've had six months and this is my first master keyboard but I have other synths. It is easy to pick up with the default config and for me very easily recognized in Ableton Live 8. This is not a cheap keyboard, so the price seems to justify the quality of the whole.

I took the model m-audio axiom pro-25 for budget reasons because at the time when the innovation and the m-audio are out, the price of m-audio was lower. I have not tested the m-audio pro 25. I am very pleased with the innovation, indeed it is confirmed by the PA stores.
