- I am looking to buy a <16-24> channel sound mixing board for my church. I have looked at several but like Mackie and Peavey. Can you help me answer a few questions, like what to look for in mic preamps. Is USB capable important? How about a USB port for memory? What direction is sound mixing headed in in the future, consequently what should I consider buying for furure growth capability? What bare minimums do I need to start? Analog or digital? Les
