It's a modern amp, new generation, there is no lamp, everything is digital. It looks like a gadget.
Power: 75 W
It's still powerful enough to scare everyone or fun eardrums.

UTILIZATION

The configuration seemed bizarre but ultimately it's very logical, 4 programmable channels, more if we provide the pedalboard: 9 of its banks, 4 channels, 36 sounds.
The sounds of factory, it must be said, are very cold but fiddling with it all, we arrive at something remarkable, and I am not exaggerating.
The manual is quite clear, it is useful because there are many features in this amp.

SOUNDS

It is perfect for my style of music, jazz, blues, funk, experimental, unclassifiable. In fact I am based in jazz, saxophonist and guitarist for fun.
I play a Gibson Nighthawk Standard, three microphones.
The terms clean, twang, blues, crunch, metal, insane do not mean anything (maybe insane is representative channel, a channel is pretty poor and surprising).
I use blues, crunch and clean, clear enough for sounds fairly drooling at times, good dynamics. My favorite channel is called metal is the most versatile in my opinion, I go from jazz to metal (green) without problems, is the first time that my guitar sounds so aggressive, high saturation, c ' is the best among all channels. Avoid becoming too gain because it gets annoying to strength, I'm not a hard rocker.
The effects should be used only occasionally.
For me, everything seems to be used, it falls quickly in the cold is not a worry, it's part of the music.
I will find other settings over time, there is plenty to do.

OVERALL OPINION

I just buy it.
I like the metal channel (green) is the most versatile in my opinion, I could be wrong, sounds great blues with this channel, playing with the knobs on the guitar, its jazz hot enough (surprising right?) .
I do not like connections, no exit line, no effects loop, built-in effects can be very cold and overbearing.
I tried the Vox modeling, they are well but it was too aggressive, footwitch not supplied.
The new Marshall with built-in effects, very good, one of my students has one.
Hughes & Kettner Edition Blue 60 R's my amp for 2 years (excellent amp but conceding more than my fantasies).
The quality / price is right.
I do not know if I would do this choice, but given the price I think it was a good choice.
My next purchase will be the pedalboard line6, in the meantime I will try this so-called gadget on stage, he will collect more than the H & K, I do not know, we'll see.
