Audience: Beginners
Hybrid amplifier transistors + 12AX7 (a little heat, what?). "Only" 15 W but the neighbors will not believe it!
An entry + Headphone / + Footswitch (not really useful on this model)
For the "dashboard" nothing to add in this price range. Very handy pots and reagents according to the model chosen. Not to mention the nice little "mouth" of the craft and its robustness.

UTILIZATION

For beginners, reading the manual (very good) is more than nécessaire.Chacun of 11 amp models requires appropriate settings according to the guitar used. This is the strength of Vox: there is something for everyone, but it requires adjustments. Two sounds can be saved (in addition to the preset) which is not bad.
As for the effects, it is still on the ear and taste. Personally, I use mainly reverb and delay but I like tremolo + reverb, and rotary.
The lack of an effects loop prohibits the proper use of a multi-purpose.

SOUNDS

Vox banged hard with the Valvetronix series: next to the price and power, it is stunning! (Pace Dish1 who is hearing problems is that an AD15VT kidding).
Jazz, blues, rock, hard ... everything passes. No amp models "preferred" although the "Shop" CL and OD ...

OVERALL OPINION

I bought this "little" Vox "end 2006.Je played on a Hughes & Kettner Tube 20 (all lamps), whose lamps were beginning to tire. I did not changed ... all of Vox's fault! Good , must still be reasonable: if you can buy an "all lamps" is better. But otherwise, the Vox can make you wait ... pleasantly.
Note that level "safe", there is no big difference between 15 and 30 W.
