Excellent
My sole motivation was to buy these speakers: the sound!
Their use is listening to music and everything goes: rock, classical, vocals, percussion, electronic music.
They are installed in my living room, elements of a home theater system 5.1, their use is somewhat family ...
SOUNDS
After spending many hours in auditoriums in my area, I found the local dealer of JBL.
I could compare in the local JBL 4410, 4412 and 4415.
The 4410 was low in the low and seemed to lack chest.
The 4415 was far too serious, too "dull"
When switched to the 4412, I was blluffé by its pure and natural!
In closing his eyes, I was not in a listening room but I had the feeling of being live with the artists!
That was more than 20 years!
I immediately fell in love with the perfect sound "in my ears for me"
I also have the JBL LX44 and Radiance, both discontinued.
The Radiance is a little below 4412.
The LX44 is too loud and metallic.
My home is a full install 5.1 system
The 4412 are before G and D
The Radiance is back G and D
Two JBL Control One form the center front channel
A 18-inch JBL subwoofer is connected to a dedicated amplifier channel for the "low"
The LX44 are reduced to dust because of their deplorable sound ... (Sic transit gloria mundi)
OVERALL OPINION
The 4412 is my acoustic nirvana for many years.
Eventually, I blame them for their large size but you can have the cake and butter ...
The JBL as a whole attracted me after many comparative listening by their sounds very simple, natural, very neutral, no frills.
They also have a good dispersion, or that is located in the room, the sound is excellent, wrapping (unlike other speakers that were so it was sufficient directives to step aside for soritr zone stereo ...)
If I had to highlight one characteristic is their side "all terrain", regardless of the music played, it always goes well with their neutrality.
I paid approx 1300 CHF / piece (800 EUR) saw their sound quality is excellent quality / price ratio because I also listened to the speakers much more expensive and famous but to my ears sounded like old pots.
Yes, I would choose again these speakers because I have not found anything that sounds better to my ears!
