I could compare in the local JBL 4410, 4412 and 4415.
The 4410 was low in the low and seemed to lack chest.
The 4415 was far too serious, too "dull"
When switched to the 4412, I was blluffé by its pure and natural!

I immediately fell in love with the perfect sound "in my ears for me"
I also have the JBL LX44 and Radiance, both discontinued.
The Radiance is a little below 4412.
The LX44 is too loud and metallic.

OVERALL OPINION

The 4412 is my acoustic nirvana for many years.
Eventually, I blame them for their large size but you can have the cake and butter ...
The JBL as a whole attracted me after many comparative listening by their sounds very simple, natural, very neutral, no frills.
They also have a good dispersion, or that is located in the room, the sound is excellent, wrapping (unlike other speakers that were so it was sufficient directives to step aside for soritr zone stereo ...)
If I had to highlight one characteristic is their side "all terrain", regardless of the music played, it always goes well with their neutrality.
