The asr-x is built like a rock. It's heavy and solid, with a metal outer case. The only thing that I do not like the quality of is the encoders. I love the effects, the sound, and the sampling very much. However, I hate the encoders, and the fact that I do not have the SCSI, and I hate using floppies. The only reason I will be getti...
The buttons are sensitive. After 2 years they don't function as well. The seq freezes sometimes. May have to send it in for repair. Had it for 6 years. Love the portability of it. Love the red color. I really appreciate the effects. Love the filters. Very powerful machine. Excellent if used w/outside sequencer. Original...

I have used and purchased many a board and nothing really comes close to the asr-10! i have a motif and i dont even mess with it much but to sample from (into the asr) or just use it for background textures and what not. if you are looking to have a tight package for production of hip-hop, this is probably the best on the market still......remem...
