Amplifier equipped with HP 1230 sheffield, the top home peavey (same as in the cabinet EVH ...), and it's the difference from the Chinese Bandit (with red stripes) that followed.
Almost too many jacks in this amp, the more simple the better, and it makes less contact, which oxidize and cause problems ... I was bothered by the way, Kontakt and spray in all 60 jacks to any resolution.
The reverb is after the effects loop but before the coming in power. Too many jacks, I tell you!
But in the case of use with a clean boost (for leading the crunch ...) the reverb hoots like an owl, the only way to connect the effects send output to the input pwr in (the back that one) to stop.
Powerful but still 75 watts, no miracles or Santa Claus huh.

Compared to my Valvestate 8080 is really not the same, a different school.
So much to know what suits you. Not a scoop.

UTILIZATION

Not easy, as many buttons difficult to read LED indicator and no short night.
I get the best sound without the help of trash and boost switches that are too tampered with. We can intervene on the final rendering with the tube dynamics and resonance switches and loose / tight.
In short it is easily lost in there, and frankly the best sounds are achieved without this unnecessary mess.

SOUNDS

What it sounds good once set! In the former, overdrive and it manages to 2hrs from scratch, a lot of harmonic richness and quite sly, delicious.
The clean is quite right, not charming, but did a great job in real life, no wonder this amp is permanently in all the bars in Nashville for the kings of country music ...
The effects loop is controllable, it is a stroke of genius. A delay in, and you snap with the included remote, what is convenient.

So hard rock, blues, blues rock, country, progressive, apart from the big bad metal you can do anything with.
Compared with the Valvestate 8080 there are fewer but much aggression for wealth and versatility. As a group you will drill better with the Marshall, if he does not fail (the series are really touchy) ...

OVERALL OPINION

This is a very good, better than his successor rich sound level. As against the Chinese is to be paid more fun, more effective and readable, and more versatile distortion.
Do not think that lights sound better than the bandit, in a budget means and especially distortion. A valve junior is a pathetic complete, valbee too, the ValveKing 112 sounds much more confusing and dark, in short I can not see the bandit Transtube be upset ...
I also had the spider 2 112, ridiculous in comparison (a real toy plastic), and cube60 roland is very far off the mark too. The concept is really Transtube musical and alive, surprising.
In short, if he is suited you, a thief should be more than enough until we have enough money to take a bad cat (there's really over, not like all tube amps that 2000 euros scam you and do not offer much more objectively than the bandit) or similar high-class.
A good way to have fun, grow, until the real amp ...
