Transistor preamp, many possible connections. Ability to color more or less thanks to the two knobs (push down the master and preamp to color, contrast is more neutral).

Rackable by two.

UTILIZATION

Simple to use. Other very expensive preamp does not allow inserts, manage color, line inputs etc.. Although complete so.

SOUND QUALITY

Coloration on the medium, a thin outlook saturation that gives a little more life and detail. Much gain, so it can grow weaklings microphones (eg Shure SM7).

OVERALL OPINION

It is in the course of very good preamps for not very expensive.

Allows you to add a nice layer of nobility, albeit sometimes subtle. But singing with a good microphone and Compressor AC adds more relief and life ... all those details that make a chain to the final sound impressive.
