I think the KH faitent are in Japan but I'm not sure.
Channel 24 frets alder body EMG81 Floyd Original, 2 volume knobs and 1 tone.
The handle is even flatter than the other ESP of this kind.

UTILIZATION

The handle is a pretty incredible discipline it is almost too flat in the center (compared to my MIII).
But it is the walk either to the rhythm or solo.A ask how we can make a solo LP, lol.
Access to acute is easy.
It is fun to play regardless of the registry.
There's a level just plug it sounds close by against better to avoid the sound clean without rebidouiller with effects (it is super dry forces EMG)
Mine is a limited edition by Ouija against what I find surprising is that my MIII Deluxe sounds even better (especially the feeling is better). But it's all good for 2!

SOUNDS

If we take the ESP is not playing Kyo!

I ais purchase there's more than a year and am delighted even though I prefer my other ESP.
The characteristic I like most out of the config is the decor Ouija!
There is nothing I dislike about this guitar.
I already have a MIII since QLQ months before buying it so I had to buy encourrager (the guitar of my dreams this limited edition!)
The value for money is indescent so I board made a deal (but it was an opportunity).
With the experience I buy as much as I can, lol.Franchement is expensive but this jewelry is frankly the ca!

I MODEL I OUIJA (I sell elsewhere for 2500)
Manufactures in the United States, 24 frets, 2 ESP dynamic microphones, Pink Floyd, 2 potentiomtres slecteur with 4 positions. Channel extra fast flat crescent moons and encrusted canvases.

UTILIZATION

The handle is very easy to play and Access in acute including 24me box is at the top. Treme in ergonomics, I find it a little too large and too heavy for a guitar solo.
The sound is monstrous! saturations are ultra powerful and bright are bright and pure desire, by changing the position of slecteur we get bluesy tones trs.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this guitar for 5 years. Her look (custom OUIJA) is dvastateur! renvers its handle (head upside down) makes it even more rebellious! The ngatif ct is the weight and may be a potentiomtre too prs strings (in funk rhythm is tappe above). I tried lots of MODELS acqurir before, and the price premium I have found no better. OVERALL OPINION

I have 5 years and frankly, I repeat nothing on it.
This is a guitar "type", trs Specializes we can not have a large variety of sounds, but what we have, it was good!
Price level, I had a good deal in 2000 with the new for 1600.
And if c'tait again ... Plutt 2 times that! ^ ^

This is the standard KH-2 that everybody knows and loves. Most people who are fans of Kirk Hammett have probably played this guitar. It's been his #1 for the longest time, and it's probably his most iconic ESP. In fact, it's probably the most iconic ESP signature guitar out there. It used to be the only way you could get an M series in this spec over in the States, but thanks to the recent M-II NTB, you now have options. The guitar features an alder body with a maple neck-thru neck, a rosewood fretboard with 24 extra jumbo frets, the signature skull and crossbones inlays, an original floyd rose tremolo, two EMG humbuckers, two volumes, one tone and a three way switch.

UTILIZATION

The guitar is great in nearly every way. The frets on this were nicely leveled and crowned properly. You could get some very nice action on this without fretting out every single step bend. The ends were nicely beveled, so they didn't cut up your hand every time you moved up and down the fretboard. The one thing I'm not a real fan of is the knob configuration, but it's easily correctable with a few slight mods. The rest of this guitar is up there with any other ESP Standard/Signature model out there.

SOUNDS

The guitar is pretty good, tonally. It has the EMG 81 in the bridge. This works great for metal. The pickup itself is a fairly low output pickup, but it's boosted internally by the EMG preamp, and that's what helps give it its natural compression and clarity under high gain. It's great for cutting through super thick mixes that metal usually has to offer. However, it can be a bit shrill on its own at times. It also lacks versatility compared to normal passive pickups. The neck in this was also an EMG 81, and I'm not really a fan of the 81 in the neck. I prefer to have the 85 in the neck as it's thicker, and it helps aid in those smoother legato lines that I tend to gear towards.

OVERALL OPINION

The guitar is great, but now that the ESP M-II NTB has hit the shores, it's really not worth buying anymore. You pretty much have to be dead set on the control configuration and inlays to justify the extra grand or whatever these go for over the M-II NTB. Great guitar, but I'm just not so sure it's worth it anymore. If you do decide to get it, buy it used as you'll get the best deal.

The ESP KH-2 is made in Japan. The KH2 consists of a bolt-on maple neck; 25.5" scale; alder body; rosewood fingerboard; skull & bones inlays; EMG 81 active humbucking pickups; 2 volume & 1 tone control with 3-way slotted Switch; black hardware; Original Floyd Rose bridge; 24 XJ frets and has a black finish. Comes with nice hardshell case and a certificate of authenticity.

UTILIZATION

This guitar is an all around great guitar for players of any type. It has a cut away hell and it has excellent access to the upper frets. It's design is very ergonomic - it is light weight, has a thin and very comfortable neck with a 14 degree (flatter) radius. The neck, XJ frets and top note access make this a top of the line lead guitar players dream and I found it excellent for rhythm work as well.
With the two humbuckers and 3-way switch it is easy to get a lot of nice sounds, especially if you like the EMG 81 sound and tone.

SOUNDS

I have used this guitar with custom built Peters amplifiers, which are kind of a cross between a Peavey 5150 and high gain Marshall/VHT with a little Boogie thrown in, an Egnater IE4 preamp, a Peavey 5150II, Marshall TSL and a Boogie DC-5. The amps were paired with a VHT Fatbottom 4x12 that had Eminence P50E's and a Marshall 1960 B cab with stock speakers a Splawn 4x12 with Governor/ManOWar speaker combo, a Earcandy Buzzbomb 2x12 w/ Scholz speakers and a Mojotone 3x12 w/ Celestion CL-80's.

I usually go for a nice thick Jerry Cantrell AIC tone, to use with my modern rock/metal band. This guitar can get you any heavy tone you want and good cleans. Suits my style of music perfectly.

I also use this guitar in a few cover bands that I've played in which includes songs from The Rolling Stones, Kings of Leon to RHCP, Poison and System of a Down. It does well with all styles.

This guitar has very nice lead tones and nice tight rhythm tones that cut through well.


OVERALL OPINION

This is such a great guitar that I bought another one as a backup. I did end up selling them because I was introduced to stainless steel frets and switched over to playing guitars with them exclusively. If these guitars would have had stainless steel frets I would have kept them. As it was, this guitar ws my main one for many years.
I have owned many guitars and had a number of years where I would buy, try and flip, which enabled me to have many guitars around to try out.

Value for the price was a great deal, I was lucky and bought them before the prices really started to get high.! Knowing what I know now I would have made the same choice every time with this guitar. It was the one I held onto the longest before getting spoiled by ss frets.


The ESP KH-2 is ranked right up there with the best of them in overall satisfaction. This guitar has beat out Ibanez RG's, Charvel/Jackson's and Gibsons that have been in my collection.

OVERALL OPINION

Well, I hesitated a long time ... the price, but once you hand it in!
Just a tip those who would be interested in the ltd know that the handle is not the same (glued and thicker). So if you do not have the means to débouser 2300euros, at an esp is between 1200 and 1500 euros, you have a choice: esp ltd used or new. See for yourself.
