USE

The handle that end possde a small curve very pleasant to play the blues. Note that on my version is a single pice and printing is really playing on a guitar "vintage" 5000 euros.
The access to acute is not dlirant, it is comparable that of a fender strat but for solos 10 minutes 24me the box, there is the other model in Ibanez (fan Mtal refrain).
The selector despite the years (my guitar aproach 30 years old admits no dead and twice that in a split second thousandth times by pressing the volume button.
For sounds, it really is in the guitar hard Temprement nothing to do with the Ibanez factories teens today.

SONORITS

The Temprement, people come. This is not a beginner's guitar, not because it is hard to play but we feel quu'Ibanez had a target head: the vintage fender strat. The sounds are crystalline and powerful even if the dual provides a great sustain.
This guitar is not far from the galer models fender of 50-60 years, which pulls in gold fortuns some guitarists.
For attacks blues or country dmoniaque, it is worth ten times my strat fender super 92 and over the strings do not break!
In crunch, we take for Keith Richard, the public less! Agreements sounds ACRS glove, it's a ball.
Avecma wha vox and my little 50 watt marshall, I really can clner the sound of Hendrix, talent and less.
In short, for almost drisoire prices and in the registry blues, classic rock, this guitar is a weapon! a bomb!
For shredders or crazy death, it can also do it thanks to the potato twice (but only the premium is dot), she can do it too, but that would be the gchis because microphones have a lot of grain and my, it feels good texas ...

Made in Japan, classic vibrato bridge (I do not use it because it disrupts the strings), 22 frets, type strat, 3 single coil pickups, Strat alignment, full settings. It seems that the handle was made for my hand, I love, in all types of games it suits me.

UTILIZATION

Channel fantastic, playable on all frets, strings are glued to the handle, no comparison with a Squier Strato, the Ibanez is much better, and then it is not a copy Fender, Ibanez but an original. Guitar very balanced and, hence, seems slight. The body is narrower than a strat.

SOUNDS

Sounds good period. Excellent workmanship. Live on my Yamaha sound, the sound is not great (just enough), but on a lamp Peavey, I hallucinated (it's on!).

OVERALL OPINION

My first guitar (in 1979) was an Ibanez strat copy (black and white, clear sleeve). I loved this guitar. Then I changed to a Gibson, but I've never done round handle Gibson. And since I galérais on each guitar. Became bassist I stopped looking for the guitar of my dreams. Then 2 months ago, waiting in a music store, I see a Ibanez Roadstar II Series black and white (unlike my first scratch), quite dirty. I take her and upon contact with the handle .... I cracked the body's memory ... the handle of my adolescence ... I bought it immediately and I crack it, I love it and with time, I find that it has a very nice shape and original. She took the character. Since I'm envious and I am proud of this guitar. And during my concerts I play a little scratch on my (80% low 20% guitar) and I go out to play U2 and Lou Reed Rhaaaa .... lovely! I do not know what year it is. Well, commenons ... My MODEL Has manufactured in Japan in the years 85 I think. It is a 24 frets neck, which can be easily tamed, and which remains in the hard super comfortable and prcis.
Floyd vibrato is divine and devilish prcis (grant). For me, the config is SSH, note that the dual (so bridge) is splitable, thereby flner with virtually all types of sound.
The rglages are simple: Tone and volume slecteur 5positions.
It's a gem.

UTILIZATION

As I said above, the handle is divine, especially in freight Premire. APRS, it is true that to the 19 frets, it thickens a bit (as they say lol), but the key is always prcise and reliable. THE config 'microphones allows a wide range of sound, sometimes a bit annoying to find, but still .... Wow!
Despite its few unnecessary programs, this skyscraper is beautiful and gentle use and intuitive ... it feels really good with it!

SOUNDS

For my part, I touch a little while with the scraper (I play on a Marshall 30W, sometimes on a Bandit 112): from the ride at mtal, through reggae and punk. Again, the config microphones makes all types of effort (we say it enough).
Clearly, the two are simply divine for walks, or small rocks, while for the double splitables dchire mtal or punk (even if these words are missing a few microphones pchu j ' admits).

OVERALL OPINION

After 4 months of use, I redcouvre each day with great joy! His touch is perfect, despite his age and was pleased each time to return! Only the vibrato sometimes made his own, but very rarely, he can be forgotten.
250euros bought occasions, this skyscraper worth! Squier between a new, branded or something or other and this guitar, my choice was quickly made on a head shot ... I do not really regret anything ...

Well, mine is not one but two roadstar roadstar a short while ... I did not find to put my opinion so here goes.
It is Japanese in 1979, three single pickups.
The neck is C-shaped end trs trs (maple fingerboard), we just put whatever you want on this corny. It is heavy, my roommate squier bass, well my guitar is heavier, much. The varnish is caramel color, maroon function ... And reveals the wood grain, the frne I guess.
I did a painting on it, because it has the charm of old roadstar, they are hacks like you want ...
I put a good 9 because the violin is excelente but not ten because I'm not a fan of this kind of end run trs.

UTILIZATION

Well, the handle, I dj said, is a sheet of cigarette ... But si'il is not ergonomic (I have the fingers of pianists, I prefer the sleeves a little bigger), it has the advantage of no practical constraint. Access in acute is perfect .. Easy to play but not so enjoyable as a.

SOUNDS

I play mostly old rock and 60's a bit of blues, it's not just the sound j'apprcie! That said, it is not dgueulasse at all. I think it is close enough to a tlcaster, sharp. The sustain is pathtique. I put a small 6 because you can find a happy, if we play punk, and reggae / ska. (Its fairly dry)

OVERALL OPINION

I have two years ago, I bought used 270 euros is a sacred affair! I'm not an electric player base, so I'm happy though. J'iame its look and solid appearance, even if it loses its buttons, lol. (Avcu it, she is 25 years old)

Guitar made in Japan, 1984, 22 frets, maple neck and alder body.
3 single coil pickups with no visible dots, a vibrato knife.
Good manufacturing and hardware qualité.Pour of evidence; I bought mine on a garage sale with all the pots seized by moisture. After a complete disassembly and dégrippagage, not a knob no "crachouille!" And yet it was very oxidized (even the pickup selector was blocked by rust). And fittings is in better shape than a GIBSON 5 years of age .... And I qd compared with the Squier Start that I had in 84, the day and night in terms of quality. The Squier even japan, instruments were already very low end!

UTILIZATION

Handle quite big, very round, compared to my other guitars, but not unpleasant. Ergonomics close to a Start. The sound is closer to 60/70 Strats, dug ds mediums with good bass and treble crystalline. At first, I wanted to change the pickups ... And no! They sound good vintage so I let them.

SOUNDS

Plugged into a good tube amp, it sounds very "vintage" and many snapping. As a Start ancienne.Pas large saturations, it is not his role, but a very good clear sound and well in crunch.

OVERALL OPINION

Guitar purchased 80 euros in a garage sale !.... Report unbeatable price / performance in my PRS CE24 cas.Je plays and a Start Plus DELUXE 98 and I really like the Ibanez.

Well, as oncle_kenji KostBen and mine is just a short roadtar was manufactured in 1982 in Japan.
Bolt maple has 21 boxes with traditional benchmarks, solid mahogany body dark brown varnish that reveals the wood grain.
2 humbuckers (probably standard but effective), 1 volume, 1 tone micro (absolutely useless in my opinion), a selector 3 position type gibson pickups, a swith to switch the pickups from single to double coil and an easel type stratocaster (without function vivrato ???????????: s)

UTILIZATION

The handle is round but very nice and fast in the end (I am astonished to think that of a telecaster, the boxes are large and easily accessible
Easy access to the treble: the shape of the body (on top) eats the handle until the box 17 so it's cool but again the shape of the body is at right angles below the handle about 2 cm and it sucks!
Otherwise the shape is perfect for playing it cool so far but the weight ... it's something crazy! 1 h after repeated I suffer is one of the only guitar that was designed to be as a muscle machine!

SOUNDS

Personally I play mainly metal and level c not touch what I want but the sound is pretty wonderful, the pickups really make much saturation: another scratch my group has an ibanez rg 7 string on which he has installed a EMG87 the easel (the equivalent of 81 to 7-string) and I have as much saturation as him!
I use it with a tube Hugh & Kettner edition before with a metal zone but now with a metal monster and it Guyatone terriiiible! (Ok, it's still engl or mesa ca be said deposit but serious! )
We can get crystal clear sound very sweet but at the same time with the bridge pickup while the neck pickup gives a more rounded, warmer (I personally do not use it) and little reminder: the swith to go from a simple double coil!
We must say that I use for metal it is well suited to blues / rock / pop / jazz / reggae finally it is very versatile.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for over 5 years (my father gave it to me when I started) and I think that overall it is frankly a good guitar, it has its own personality, charm.
Poue the quality / price I could not say too much ... I know that in 1982 it was worth about 5,000 francs new, maintenent I know.
Otherwise it is true that we deplore the abscence of vibrato, the handle has only 21 boxes and stuff that I do not understand: for a volume 2 tone I find it pointless ...

The neck is super nice, very intuitive, its former owner found it too narrow, I who have large fingers I'm no general.
The weight is quite correct compared to my old Squier.

what I like least about this guitar? Missing one screw that allows the agreement to the bridge I will have to pass pigalle to find it ...
What I like most? everything else: the patina on it, the sound, micro, stick ...

If I do it again this election? of course I'm not masochistic ... especially at this price it was worth 5000fr in 1980 if we correct for inflation can be estimated it was worth the price of a guitar pro right now, knowing that fender and gibson vintage is worth a fortune more than a bargain, even if it does not much Cotera.
