If you aren't super picky about your thinlines like I am, this is a well priced and very fun guitar. You know how some guitars just say "take me out and play me?" This is one of those guitars for sure. Nobody else is really making good thin line reissues right now so in my opinion this is the best one.

Overall, this guitar is a winner. But the S-1 switching is unnecessary bulk that just raises the price of the guitar. I'd rather pay $50-100 less for the same guitar minus the S-1. It really is a good axe, it just doesn't need this fancy switching. It's a Tele!
What I like the most about it that it feels, plays and sounds great. What I like the least is that as always there'd no arm contour so having the body edge in your right fore arm all night long can take some getting used to. These guitars you'd find pretty much and a retailer and any guitar shop around the world. You can also find them quite easily online and in many classifieds or eBay auctions. These are very versatile guitars but probably not as versatile as a Fender Stratocaster. If you're looking for that one guitar that will be your end-all, be-all and...
All in all I think the Fender Road Worn '50s Telecaster is a great buy for someone who is looking for a wonderful feeling and great sounding vintage type Tele for under $1000. The relicing is honestly not great - it's the EXACT same on every guitar and tends to look cheap, but the feel of the guitar is excellent. If Fender offered this model in ...
