Ron Kirn Tele

Guitar made by luthier Ron Kirn in Jacksonville FL in 2008.
Easel and buttons Armadillo, fat soft V neck profile, medium frets Stewart Macdonald Type 6105, 1 humbucker (neck) & 1 single coil (bridge) Lollar, mechanical blocking sperzler, nitrocellosique varnish (a real one), a paulownia body part, maple neck and Indian rosewood fingerboard, three-position pickup selector, 2.9kg weight.
Paulownia is very close by Ron Kirn Ash, just a little darker. This is a very light and soft wood that sounds particularly good! product japan china and korea, this wood is used for ages to produce high quality traditional instruments. The West only started to get interested.

UTILIZATION

I'm not used to this type of handle, yet immediately a firm grip on the guitar. Very easy to play! The ergonomics of the instrument is excellent. The guitar is super light. The handle looks good. Good balance! Access to acute freight is good, but it's still a telecaster ...

SOUNDS

The humbucker has a powerful enough level of output. The tone and volume settings are very thin. It can therefore go from crystalline to its thick. I play on the fender, I also use a lot torpedo devices. I play mostly clean sound, or light crunch.

OVERALL OPINION

There are very few guitars Ron Kirn in Europe. According to Ron Kirn, only two exports to France, much to the UK, some in Spain, as in other European countries. The market maker that is built mainly in the U.S., where it has an excellent reputation, his guitars are considered the best with some other brands that compete in the top tier (LSL, Rick Kelly, K-Line, and some other ). So hard to choose between a plethora of instruments! This is the level of Custom Shop Fender, at least, and it costs much less. Yes I would do this choice, and maybe I will not also delay
