Value For Money : Excellent
5 watt tube amp
A 12AX7 preamp and an EL84 in power.
Just a volume knob, no EQ or effects loop.

UTILIZATION

Very easy to use
The good sound comes from the half of the race or size.

SOUNDS

Ideal for the Blues or Rock.
Plugged my Start, the foot.
The sounds are of types with many big crunch (too?) Medium.
After some modifications, the sound is more defined and more alive.
Changing the lamps can make the sound warmer.
The use of an equalizer is almost indispensable if one wants to really use this amp but there is a slight lack of bass anyway because if it rises too low, the sound becomes too rough. The only solution would apparently change the output transformer for a model of superior quality.

I put 5 / 10 without equalizer and 8 / 10 with.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a month.
Very good quality / price ratio, better than the combo.
I would do this choice with his eyes closed.
In addition, minor changes, it sounds even better.
His only big flaw is the lack of an equalizer but the minimalist spirit of this amp that does it ...

This is a great amp to the condition of having few effects available in order to have several different sounds. The price may seem very interesting but do not forget the price of an equalizer and a good speaker.
