UTILIZATION
I bought it used so no manual, but the site mesa, it is possible to have the full manual in English and if you're doing well, you can find the manual in French on the forum.
Noted the mesa exellent idea to include in the manual, the settings from neutral setting that may have copied, to put these individual settings.
A s for the settings of my mind, if you have these amps, lower than this before (I speak not of our, Bogner, VHT, etc, etc. .....) forget everything you know, I 'I completely due réaprendre, settled a head, the highs and lows are manipulated sparingly.

SOUNDS
Well here is the most, interresting for me.
So I am doing metalcore, heavy etc, etc, all styles of metal what. For this style of music, Dark is the "hi-gain amp." I managed to make less Virula styles, be aware that this is a very versatile head.
I play with an LTD EC-1000 deluxe serial, mounted emg81/85, coupled with a Boss GE-7, a graphic equalizer, which further refines the sound of the beast. I have a baffle 'low-end mounted jensen behringer, but I agree that for now.
Its clean: Not the most beautiful in the world, but its still a very, very correct, I admit to not yet having found "the" sound on that channel.
Crunch channel: Already sent it starts, I use this channel there and 3 of "modern". The crunch is almost similar to channel 3, but is much more round and warm. With that the solo was fine, may have varied in its most brutal of the vintage.
Modern channel 3: Well, it's my favorite channel. There I found my sound, there is the mesa, it flows TIMPs. Warning 100 watt mesa is all just huge in my apartment, I play has a master output, and a 0.2 channel master, lolololol, not serious it's too violent, and in addition the sound really takes off, as around 10 am, the lights began to sing, but the neighbors have already apel cops, lol.
Returning to her is beautiful, I'm still excited.
As against a group, the second scratch is the same, the sound is more defined, cleaner, a huge time.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for one month, I waited to leave a review, but I cracked the head really deserves its reputation. I do not really understand why some people crachenet above.
I love all of the head, nothing to say for myself.
I played on many heads before: peavey ultra, 5150, xxx, JMC 800, 900, 2000, krank (not bad dutout for that matter), and the head surpasses all that.
I had not dutout dear, for nine against it hurt a lot, but I think the quality is like all the payroll.
I would do this choice, without hesitation.
