Value For Money : Excellent
Technology: Transistor + lamp eventually (possibility to cut the lamp)
Connectors: XLR / Jack
Rack-mount model.
(See description AF trs prcis for more information)

UTILIZATION

The general configuration is very simple, as most preamps.
The manual is clear and sufficient (a condition to have some basic knowledge about
the sound, such as food needed for condenser microphones ... some knowledge of possible problems of phase .... etc.).
Used when recording an album of acoustic guitar, with two microphones
static, it is quite satisfactory. Opportunity to assay the level of the lamp
when it is implemented. Deplus, the analog level meters are easy to
monitor, not ngligeable bonus these days! Test also as direct box
with an electro-acoustic guitar is more than acceptable deumeure facing a simple box
DI in part by the lamp (attention to adjusting it!). It does not compete
however, with an acoustic guitar preamp ddi what it is (also)
not!!

SOUND QUALITY

The sound of the pickups is played correctly. The sound is pretty clear that using
transistors, and the tube provides a more color quite nice.
In short this is a preamp taf!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 3 weeks and I recommend it particularly.
The feature that I prefer: the possibility to cut the lamp or to dose level, XLR and jack connectors, both channels and especially the possibility of an instrument preamplifier and / or a microphone! (Static or dynamic).
The lack of on / off switch is not primarily teachers and avoids an "On-Offit" acute abmerait the lamp.
The design is nice but the only thing I ask is to make the preamp to taf
not that of a Christmas wreath!

With the experience I remake that choice again (I judge the quality price ratio
excellent for this dual preamp - but this is only my opinion of course).
