[NAMM][VIDEO] Yamaha Mobile Music Sequencer
iPad users can now benefit from the Yamaha Mobile Music Sequencer App, with an introductory offer price until the end of February 2013.
Yamaha introduces at NAMM 2013 the Mobile Music Sequencer MIDI loop based sequencer app for iPad which will help you sketch the outline of a composition and use the ingredients to craft songs on a Yamaha synthesizer, or in Steinberg Cubase.
You can choose from a selection of 382 presets phrases and combine them to create a section, then paste sections together to create a complete song.
The app features a software synthesizer with 92 timbres, included 9 drum sounds. Timbres can be edited with filters, envelope generator and other effects (reverb, chorus and variations). A mixer function is available for each part, along with a Loop Remix with which selected phrases can be divided at specified intervals and automatically ordered and reworked into new phrases.
It as also possible to use real-time recordings using the keyboard within an application or the piano roll.
4 additional voice and phrase datapacks can be purchased directly using the application (Dance Pop, Electronic, Hip Hop and R&B).
