- CAUTION! : IN THE NOTICE BELOW NUMBER OF THEM CRITICIZE THE LOW OUTPUT. YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT FREE UPGRADE IS AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROBLEM SET DAY ...
I come to give you my impressions of this keyboard, after several months of regular use.
For my initial specifications, this keyboard is almost perfect: I wanted a small keyboard (4 octaves) VERY lightweight, easy to carry in his bag backpack for 1-2 rehearsals a week of my group, with a maximum sound bank, but editable (envelope, resonance, filter ...) and effects (chorus, delay, reverb ...) in order to direct plug in stereo sound without the fuss or anything else.
A keyboard, not a gas plant, what ...
In group settings, go fast: Live sound without spending three hours hacking away in sub-menus, but can still make changes ("you can add to your attack her? ... ") easily and quickly.
For against all types arranger functions, sequencer, support etc ... we are not no use in rock band and could complicate the use of the keyboard, its interface, its price, its weight. Here, none of it: one branch, we look for the sound in the desired category, we change a bit if needed, it is placed in layer or split, a little effect, a transposition if necessary and it works directly ... no brainer ...
The box ryhtme troubleshoots but that's all it is ultra limited.
Functions to con kind DAW, 16 channel multitimbral, 999 arpeggios, demo songs, play WAV / MIDI etc ... I'm sick and seem totally useless. If I need a keyboard, controller or expander home studio, it is clear that I would not take that! ... They should have made the scene even more direct (with a better keyboard for example) and turn that stuff are useless! The plant performance is totally useless, it will have no compunction in putting ours (a piece by the group, so we have 128 pitches) instead.
o énooooorme his bank!
o the variety and quality of sound, qualibrés hair cell to the scene (in rock in any case, it works well, they are well chosen and leave nickel in the mix)
o fairly easy to use (at least for basic concepts)
o expression pedal that controls volume, MANDATORY group in my opinion
o transportability of the beast, required configuration groups (rehearsals, scenes, transport ...): it is small and VERY LIGHT, and that is happiness!
o the price! no competitor at this price so far
o Simplicity: you go into a button on the Performance configuration (for pieces prepared) in search of a sound bank, if necessary on stage etc ...
o it is cheap at the cheap ... I was not all that tough look good ... the pots are scary, the buttons are pitiful ... I do not know how long it will take ...
o the keyboard is a disaster! .... it is an insult at the hands of pianists ... Fortunately I am a Gifted keyboard, but put a real piano on it and you balance in the face pronto ... next, it is a Rolls Bontempi ...
velocity o ... they just abused the velocity I think in any case its effect on the volume of sounds, it said on stage it is convenient to add dynamics to pieces, accentuate the low / loud passages ...
o docs are pretty damn bad in my opinion
o the output level is insufficient (a maj BIOS solves this problem easily and blackjack)
o The quality of the cover (optional, no small profit), very average ... not even room to put the transformer, not abuse ...
o the power supply cable would have benefited from a longer hair on stage it is convenient
o display ... 2 lines and not graphic, it is limited, it is still ... in 1980
In conclusion, for use in rock band, it's perfect for the price. There is no one in this budget and that meets these specifications ...

- Previous notice and AF test
- Use simple, even simplistic. Very limited edition
- The sounds are those of the pattern, do not worry. Probably the best sample library. Rhodes excellent, very beautiful strings, nice tablecloths.

- I am owner of a Motif ES and wanted a second keyboard for live, with roughly the same functionality for the game on stage.
Big disappointment for two reasons: 1. the output level ... but I qu'espérais between a keyboard and a 2000 500 balls?? Well the result is clear: Huge lack of potato> MX49 ... asthma converters, where I am half the volume of ES ass, I'm on the block MX with 2000 + Db at the table. No punch, just beautiful sounds
2. the layer function is a semi-con. I wanted to split my keyboard into several play areas (4 on ground) and there: a split basis, or a layer that can stack sounds, but not cutting areas .... I can not read the ad, in which there is no evidence that it is impossible ... but for me it is unusable.
So nice to nomadic synth pretty squeaker with headphones on her bed, but out of the question to use live, except for use only its (even larger) at a time.
So, fine, but it will teach me to read the features properly before purchasing.
The lack of power output at the intended home studio and a well muscled to offset table.
Bought, tried one night and return directly to the seller.

- Somehow MOX Reason lite version.
Jaime good feel of the keyboard even though some say it is lighter than some other models, I find it very enjoyable to play.
- Very simple to use on this side the hat, very clear manual yen dailleurs not even need too.
Jai likes there is the knobs to adjust directly chorus, reverb, etc. attack very practical at this level. In general way this is very intuitive even for layeriser two sounds together, to have access to arpegios etc..
The big Bb I put a synth that this is his side integration with different Daws.
Ormis that we can record the midi and audio via the USB cable, nothing extraordiaire side integration. Nothing has changed compared to multiple workstations outlets and nearly ten years. Can certe controlling the pause play etc. cubase (cubase have comes with) but quon sattaque to other DAWs this is the galley. Also there is no integrated editor, it is forced to buy a type editor vycro or even for other performances.
Another thing the output of the synthesizer (the volume output) is lower than other Yamahas. there is a workaround for this is still ca once to have a voice and editor daugmenter the volume of each voice if this is too low.
- On this side of it is impeccable, I'm not as detailed sounds are worthy of the pattern, with just a little weak in the sounds of synthesizers is jai.

- I keep a week as not correspond at all to my way of working.
once again the marketing of a company has been very effective for my purchase, I had been seduced by their arguments selling DAW integration. Well for now this synth sintegre do no better than any other synthesizer and especially do not particularly integrated as a VST plugin, we are always obliged to create a midi track and audio to record audio so nothing has changed since of years. I would say that only the virus TI sintegre perfect way in daw. The mainte this is a mild version of the release pattern.
sounds so very good the rest dexceptionnel anything ...
The thing that make me this is that even though it has very good sound it ny Arian that he can do that vst plugins can not do in 2013 level sound quality. 5-7 years ago I'll keep to the same sounds if the workflow is not fast, nen game not worth the candle. Cheap certe but ... But I'm a fan of Yamaha (speakers, mixers, headphones etc.)
When will we have a true worksation with sound quality but sintegre as a VST plugin, for now Korg, Roland and Yamaha are really nothing to change the picks for more than ten years, but they continue to make us believe that the integration is ...

- It is a 49-key synth. To me the touch is not bad but I'm not a pianist.
There are 1106 sounds very good and not evil effects.
There are a lot of connections, one that is very good is the 3.5mm audio input. Otherwise there are twelve o'clock in / out, headphone jack and released 6.35 HP and two pedal inputs.
It comes with Cubase AI 6 virtual synths but will not install on my iMac and I had quite a problem to install Cubase. I must take the time to try on Logic.
It is recognized on the iPad with the kit photo.
There are 128 voices of polyphony which is great for the price.
- Configuration is not very difficult even if I have not all inclusive.
The manual does not fit too much into details as it is necessary to read PDF files supplied on the CD.
I did not even edit sounds because I do not really understand.
- Sounds suit me perfectly. There are very good acoustic piano sounds, the guitars are not as badly copper.
- Overall Opinion
- I use it for 3 weeks.
I did not try another model because I wanted a keyboard budget.
I love the sounds, having had a Motif es 7, I think the MX sounds really good.
The value for money is excellent.
If I had bought a keyboard I would do the same choice.
