Guitar (steel strings) 12 strings. Made in Japan in the 1970s in factories Ibanez, CIMAR this is a copy (rather successfully) a Gibson Humminbird.
The picture is not quite the same model, but none is close!
The set neck has 20 frets, with a beautiful binding and inlays (they, coarser) the key is rosewood. We find the binding throughout the body contours. The large plate is a copy of the Gibson. The rosewood bridge has Duex rows of pegs. The finish is exemplary ... but it is honorable. Finally, the handle is wide enough but not very thick ... action is very low!

UTILIZATION

The handle is very nice, rather large, Tienda well in hand ... action is very low, no curling, which is very rare on a 12 string. Access to acute is difficult, but we will not risk too has a frenzied solo 12-string folk ... on the other hand, as always with CIMAR, the sound is very powerful (large box), well balanced ... What a great sound!
The default key (but it has more than 30 years) is that the frets are a bit old and had a mechanical seized.

SOUNDS

Very good acoustics ... corresponds to the folk as a pop ... sound deep enough.

OVERALL OPINION

It's been a year since I qusiment cheek, I started with the 12-string ... Apart from minor problems duent age, I like this guitar a lot ...
I bought this guitar on Ebay, without even trying it, but possessing another CIMAR, an exellent guitar, I tried ...
For the 100th, I made a deal, a good copy of Gibson ac Japanese sound very typical 1970's ... a true vintage at this price, yes I would do this choice ...
