«  A "museum piece" »

Made in Germany in the 1960s
Unlike other Framus models, it has a bonded, and manufactured in 2 parts handle (the handle body + head)
Adjustable floating bridge height.
"Classic" Channel 12 frets to the body.
No microphone on mine.
"Classical" violin parallel barrge.
Among the old Framus, it is a "collector's".

UTILIZATION

With the bridge in the lower position, the action is excellent until the 9th fret.
Further, we forget.
Can raise the bridge (which I did not because I play at the end of handle) to obtain an acceptable sound beyond the 9th fret, but I guess it becomes harder to play.

SOUNDS

Its main quality (besides its robustness) is its very special sound, similar to that of a "cittern" a strange sound a bit cavernous, with excellent volume (due to the parallel dam).
Great to accompany instruments "Trad" as the flute.

OVERALL OPINION

I have 10 years and I refuse to part with it.
Can not compare it to other guitars 12-string with which his sound has nothing in common.
The feature I like the most (besides the sound), is its ease of set (8 boxes end of the shaft).
Features I do not like: balance, not great (light and heavy enough cash sleeve), rotten from the 9th box sound (but that's on mine, and it is a choice) .
Impossible to judge the value for money: it is an old guitar, a model that is no longer quite rare to find, and I have not purchased (we gave it to me).
