Steve Vai Signature 2x12 cabinet the size of a 2x12 marshall, celestion equipped v30, construction seriously, nice finish. 8 ohms. Baffle closed but can open at the rear (back cover removable partial). Indestructible metal grille on the front. It's been tough! A burgundy vinyl behind the grille, a black faux-leather everywhere else. The stylized logo vai. Too much class!
Purchased on the net in Germany, I use it for about a month with a preamp carvin quad x plugged into a JCM800. It replaced a 2x12 marshall original Celestion 15ohm hp (!?) As the original, very mellow crunch, but at low to drool. The sound is transformed: I have a new (and better) amp!

What to say to € 469 delivered at home and all inclusive including all taxes! Should really be in bad faith to find fault. The v30 are modern, incisive in the treble, detailed in the midrange and bass. We know them, they are super hp. The cabinet is quality, does not vibrate at high volume. Beautiful sound projection. the saturated are huge!
Coupled with our 2x12 (super cabinet for that matter) is the ideal marriage. Less safe, but that our clearer treble and bass sharper.
For me, the value for money is exceptional (and I'm picky). Carvin is really great stuff that the distribution is made difficult by the absence of a distributor in France. What a pity!
You can go there with closed eyes: it's all good! I should take a long time.
Come on, a review: there's no casters I have to buy separately. (But really to have something to say ...)
Small addition on 03/05: 06: Tried to high volume with low battery, the top, extra spread, its "held", big bass, clear treble and midrange singing (not cardboard), I like braille a 4x12!

On mine I set a plate for connection to a branch marshall 8 ohm mono or 2 x 16 Ohms stereo.
Ideal for my amp marshall EL84 20/20 + Preamp Carvin Quad X
Better than my marshall 1931 2 x 12 "(including a V30) and much lighter. Everything goes in, including the bass, and it is accurate. As a group, they accept power without flinching (the 20/20 sends enough to really hurt the ears and vibrate your ribs).
Bought secondhand on eBay U.S. (very hard to find in France, and impossible to buy carvin USA on grounds of exclusive import), it did not cost me much, even with shipping. If I can, I buy another, but very few sellers are willing to send an object as big in europe.
Otherwise, there on the net in Germany at a price still okay for quality.

Very good value for money and above all, small and lightweight (my choice was related to that too). Big as a marshall 1922, the sound is not the same.
Surely there are better in absolute terms, but personally I think it would be difficult not to love this one.
