- Large vertical baffle 2x12 Celestion Vintage 30, 120 watts max.
- Dimensions: 60 x 75 x 36 cm, 38 kg. A truck for a 2x12 and a size that commands respect: only 15cm in width of less than 4x12 brand!
- Only works in single and under 16 ohms (almost the only criticism that I do, and o one has the advantage 1960A).
- No wheels (with 38 Kg, spa cool is my second complaint).

Otherwise, it has a nice look with its big grille and chrome logo Engl. And it's one of the few 2x12 vertical market since Carvin and Mesa are not more.

I bought it to replace, finally, a Marshall 1960A. And frankly, I do not regret it!
The ENGL is more safe, more truly dynamic sound spectrum a richer, more more more!

It is quite monstrous in fact! It PSE only 3 pounds less than 1960A!

Test on a Mesa TriAxis / 2:90 on a head Engl Powerball Engl 580 and / Brunetti Overtone / VHT 2/50/2, it happens to grain and punch her. This is not a VHT Fat Bottom (also tried with this hardware), but it is not the same CATEGORY. Vertical and shape can really improve the dissemination of sound (we are not obliged to ask the cabinet at an angle against a wall or a chair or table during the RPET ').

A good speaker trs, trs not manageable by its weight and its lack of wheels (but not install too difficult, casters) at a price content.

Very practical for a system that rack (we just put the flight on it without problem), with a more boring head, the speaker is a bit too short (when a is even, but the head looks a little, without REALLY be in dsquilibre).

when I think I wanted this cabinet a year ago, and my salesman imbcile me drunk to flog me for almost the same price, a Marshall 4x12, assuring me that the Marshall give better sound ... It is simply the opposite!

Added 16/05/2004: b'en as time passes, VIIII, I regret not a moment this purchase! What and how its dynamics
Sold for a 4x12 Engl E412VS
