The sound is pretty typical vintage thanks to the excellent Celestion G12M65 of Creambacks series derived from Greenback Celestion dixit but better. Having never used the Greenbacks, I can not confirm. But the sound is very balanced, the bass is deep, detailed midrange and treble present but very soft. A feast for the blues sounds / rock / hard old. For clean sounds, I also found the sound excellent, very velvety and very hot ... It's hard to put words on sounds ...
This 2x12 FXamps is a great success! For a reasonable price, I have a wonderful cab and HP that kill. It gives me a real cruncher machine in the spirit of the vintage! For modern sounds or "extreme" styles, I think it is possible but the choice of HP will be different.
