I was looking for a nice little keyboard to manage my Keyswtichs, have next to my PC to set sounds and so I chose the PCR30. There are widely everything you need in terms of MIDI commands and a nice little editor for the PC.

USE

Catastrophe! he broke down almost immediately (while qu''il does not move from my desk!) I quickly had a few touches that were not working. I dismounted and I mi s in connection with a box that makes the VAS. He sent me a new card for half the price of the keyboard and ... I could not plug it in. Three months later! I learned that my keyboard, bought new, was of an older design and the connection tables had changed. So I paid a keyboard, a compensation for a keyboard that have never been used and is still down.
So forget!

NOTICE GLOBAL

IT could have been a good product if the quality of manufacturing and service were up to.

I complete ... no news of service, vias I therefore take the necessary decision: throw this keyboard to the bucket so that it will have cost me one and half times its price and it has served me at most ten times! A SHAME!

This is nickel bbte this what I needed. For résumé: 32-key keyboard enjoyable, 27% Assignable Controller 100 (8 pots / faders 8 / 9 buttons + 2 pedals). 15 non-volatile memory recall instantly.
I love: programming the Sysex messages, channel assignment and for each port SPECIFICATIONS Controller, and robust appearance compared to surfaces or M-Audio Evolution (not yet done with scne , jvous say if he survcu APRS), and editor software that can quickly save or remember all the memory via USB. Oh, by the way: the beast is also a MIDI interface with 1 in / 1out.
I like least: uh I not found a default ... ah yes! no mode "draw-bar" (reversing the course of the faders), yet it easily bypasses trs bp in Logic.

2 MONTHS AFTER CORRECTION: The drawbar mode exists, with a B4 is enjoyable. Bte and holds out. So I go back to Note 10

UTILIZATION

Keyboard: nickel even if I use some trs ('m used to the touch heavy)
Configuration, installation takes less than 15 minutes, no problem (for once)
Use: trs intuitive, even fearful (eg, a memory for a CONTRL VST, hop three keys to press and we change memory to another VST CONTRL)
Manual: trs full multilingual.

OVERALL OPINION

A moderately priced small keyboard with knobs, faders and some acne just what I needed to forget my mouse.
The USB cable also allows power from the keyboard, as you ask for?
Despite the appearance a little "toy" of the keyboard, the controllers seem to me pretty good quality.

UTILIZATION

Well it's clear that this is not the touch of a piano, ca there is no miracle, however, for my use (electro music) well enough for me I think.
Installing the keyboard is very simple.
APRS for configuration, for those who know the MIDI I do not think that they pose too much problem, I did not know too much, I had a little trouble with the instructions in English (some the manual is in French but it is not very helpful ...).
However, APRS have loaded some control maps (download on the site of EDIROL), I could use it with Fruity, Acid and some plug-ins => It's the fact!
I put 9 / 10 as an effort could be made supplmentaire for the manual.

OVERALL OPINION

I did that for three days, and I have certainly not been around, but I know that dj possde all the features I need, and more.
I do not believe that it is direct competitor for this price (209 euros nine) in this CATEGORY (master keyboard / MIDI controller).
Trs qualitprix good value.

UTILIZATION

Yes the keyboard is nice 30 PCR was used. Actually received is correct.

But I want to talk about fiabilitée. I use this keyboard for 27 months.

After four months, there were already two sliders that were beginning to tire. One month after the deadline guarantees, the keys of notes begins to fade after one.

Today half of the notes no longer work. Impossible to repair.

OVERALL OPINION

Today, Edirol France sent me an email to inform that my PCR m 30 is the victim of a known problem on early models.

They then inform my m clave de control will change me as if he was still under warranty.

I bought it because I needed a small keyboard with assignable pots and buttons for scne.
It has 2 inputs pedals (1 switch, 1 volume), MIDI in / out, USB ...

Transformer external damage.

The pots are really LGERS, too fragile, and the risk of the dcevoir rcents acqureurs: after 3 years I have 3 keys that do not play .... Unacceptable for a keyboard that I have to pay in 200euros.

UTILIZATION

The keyboard is quite enjoyable, but too fragile (see above)

PCR Editor Software (Mac OSX for me) is very well done, trs visual and very practical, more presets comes with (or tlchargeables on their website) are very s appropriate and numerous. It is twelve o'clock grate assignments since the computer via USB, the keyboard has a number of memory (10 I believe) to switch from a config another quickly.
The manual is quite prcis.

OVERALL OPINION

Overall opinion mixed too fragile for the price. Good opportunity to config, compact, well thought out.
I do not PCR30 Rasht, because today there are a multitude of other keyboards of this size for the same price or less, with more buttons!

CORRECTION: Edirol has just changed (in the minute the store) my PCR-30 which n'tait out of warranty with the keys that dconnent ... by a PCR-M30 Brand New! In the words Kibutz! Congratulations and thank you Edirol Kibutz!

Nothing new to add.
I was looking for something simple to implement, be able to plug in USB suited me.
With plastic casing, but knobs and pitch / bend in rubberized finish make a positive impression.

UTILIZATION

In fact I use it with Reason. I was tired of me hitting my components in mice. in addition to lacking a bit of life.

What I like most is its simplicity.
As mentioned above, I do not need a lot of features.
I tried one or two before MODELS, but much lower quality, lower-end. See anything, they were really plastoc.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 3 years and I'm very disappointed with the quality of this product. The buttons were all the faders is the trunk, 2 of 8 faders do not work, and another hangs himself and decides what he wants to do. I think it's a bit limited compared to the price. The shell is also very plastic (when tapped it sounds hollow). Sometimes the screen will flash and write anything, yet he never fell. While he made many many live but still! I wish they take more than 3 years ...

8 knobs, 8 sliders and a couple of other buttons for play/stop/record and other functions. The pitch and modulation are intergrated in a single joystick, making it easier to control with a single finger. 32 keys, 2 and a half octaves, which is perfect for a compact keyboard. The only concern may be its size: it is compact, but quite big at the same time. MIDI and USB out, perfect for both usage.

Price paid: $180 USD

UTILIZATION

Very easy to use, almost plug and play. All the drivers are included, along with a Sonar music creation program.

OVERALL OPINION

The M30 is very strong, resistant to shocks. You'll notice its good assembly when it gets right out of the box. Even the weakest parts like the sliders and knobs are very hard to break.

It's simply magic, works perfectly, I fell in love!
