I use this speaker for more than three years now.
I t attracted by its price (it is not common even when a speaker that cost much less than the HP that are in).
And I really do not by the sound of t, on the contrary (I use a head brach of triple X).
Aesthetics is not ugly, construction is solid.
The only two complaints he can be really rotten is the Tolex (he scored in less than two and dchire very easy) and especially the wheels that dboitent own, really low-end . I have not let more than 5 min on, but will the speaker is not heavy trs (a mesa is not what!).
Before I used a Peavey 412JS (JS Jensen Speakers for, not Joe Satriani) trs not expensive either but its not a inintressant but trs diffrent, with a more modern, more grain end (but much better wheels). I have always used but little trs.
I also tried (always with the same head) the Marshall 1960A, which I do not really support (I find this to baffle gnial rock, but I find the sound too dirty for the metal) .
The comparison is most INTERESTED with baffles V30 team of course.
So I dj jou on mesa and VHT (both 4x12 and the same head), but I found the sound really trs "fermquot;. Believe it or not, but I find that my HB a better distribution, a sound less "touffquot;. It is probably of the head, finally I do not know, but I prfre my HB.
Finally I tried a 2x12 dernirement XL NOS with 2 V30 (along a mesa 4x12, has allowed me to make a direct comparison mesa / NOS), and really walk c'tait , much better distribution, what ecstasy!
I wish I could make a direct comparison of the HB with a mesa or a VHT (er. .. Fryette sue me), because two essay baffles conditions diffrent several months apart is not what is most relevant.
The fact is that this cabinet a quality unbeatable price compared to 350 for you more than your money, let it be said! Solid level is not comparable certtainement mesa, masi price is not either. For sound it does not blush.
I would do without this choice hsiter! May be that if the era they were the 2x12 version dj vintage I prfr it. In any case I do not count me Sparer immediately, even if I plan to take a NOS when I a little ways.
