Published on 01/21/12 at 17:42The CB1 is my first acoustic bass. From the electric bass, I also own a Takamine and a Ampeg B10 Babybass.
The CB1 is Fully massive ebony fingerboard with a high quality top for me it was this price!
The grip of the gouge CB1 is excellent, the bass was delivered to me with perfect settings.
The adjustable bridge is good, and strings (velvet) as well.
The sound is good, the projection is a good average.
One might wish for more serious, but in this price range it is a step up from some Chinese bass.
I amplify my own via a sensor K & K Double Big Twin, and I have excellent results!
