« Not for me »
Published on 02/16/11 at 15:52Just tried extensively in the store with my archtop floating micro
UTILIZATION
A bit complicated considering the number of settings, I prefer the minimalist approach.
SOUNDS
I was looking for "jazz tone" typical and I must say that despite the number of settings available to me, I never even touched upon the desired sound, so this amp n is not as versatile and as it seems.
I found it generally quite flat and strangely affected by a kind of veil over the attacks, as an artifact of compression or noise gate, overlapping the sound of the guitar.
OVERALL OPINION
Most: nice presentation, and solid manufacturing quality, compact design, the prices look right.
Least: the sound disappointing, complexity and number of settings
