Amalio Burguet 3
Published on 01/30/03 at 15:00I was looking to upgrade the entry level Takamine on which I had started, so I went to all the shops in the Santa Cruz, CA area and played everything I could get my hands on. I ended up getting this instrument at More Music. I think it was listed at $900.
Of course, I bought it foremost for the sound. It's sound is precise, crystal clear, and warm. It is very responsive and capable of great range of expression. It doesn't sound quite as good as my teacher's $20K guitar, but it's not far behind.
A beautiful instrument that is comfortable to play.
Nothing.
Impeccable. Beautiful to look at and hold. All solid wood. Plays and stays wonderfully in tune.

I don't think a lot of these make it to the US, but if you see one, you should definitely check it out.

It's "semi violin" is going to say. But assembled by hand and produced in small series dcoup the machine.
Top: Solid Cedar, it's hot and it is beautiful
Sides and back: rosewood (plate I think) beautiful trs
Fingerboard: ebony, quality limits, do not rev very old.
UTILIZATION
Channel trs enjoyable play. It is a good round of classic, there's no large variety but it is relatively thin, straight as an I
I had to add a shim under the bridge saddle to limit the frieze, is settled down a bit original.
Note that the guitar is trs fragile, a single shot is a hell of a bread coating. Hard case indispensable

SOUNDS
The cedar provides a warm and trs trs enjoyable for all that is bossa / samba. Trs also goes well on small chorus in addition to a folk for example.
OVERALL OPINION
A great price quality ratio, but a little diffuse brand. Purchased in 4000 frs 10 years ago, I do not regret the investment. Gnial its fragile ... but trsSee less00
