Having had no point of reference and comparison, I was skeptical about the sound quality and power of 10W: Actually no, I was pleasantly surprised!

OVERALL OPINION

I did not know at all what to expect before connecting, I was really confused! Once plugged in it is true that it is rather surprising, therefore, at my level I put a good 8.

* How long have you use it?
Few hours.

* Did you try many other models before buying it?
Furtively, not enough to make me notice.

* What is the particular feature you like best and least?

+ The varied connectivity and USB connectivity in particular
+ The sound quality seems pretty good to me priori

* How would you rate the quality / price?
A € 50 in hand, unbeatable!

With such a budget, definitely!

The M1 Active 320 USB monitors reveal detail well, even in the lower frequency range. Their sound staging is impressive, e.g. vocals can appear to come from between the speakers. My only problem was a slight mismatch in volume balance. Definitely worth the money. Compared to higher-priced units these don't have separate power supplies and cords, and they share a volume control mounted on the front of the right speaker - nice conveniences. Recommended.

Having used another USB interface that I hated, I was fully prepared to have this one be easily clogged with data. I am using an HP dv2000 laptop (dual processor and 2 gig of RAM), with the latest version of ASIO4ALL installed. I recorded my test into Audacity.


I must admit to having been a combination of both skeptical and hopeful when I first saw these online. When I watched the demos Alesis posted, I was even more so. However, after testing them like I did, I am sold! For a small, integrated system, these are great and I have no qualms in recommending them to others in similar situations.


OVERALL OPINION

Within minutes of setting these speakers up, the left (slave) speaker would intermittently lose the audio signal for as long as 15 to 30 seconds at a time. Since this is a slave speaker with the audio coming from the right speaker through a small-gauge wire and mini-plug, there is no way the problem was related to the source or signal to the master speaker. I admit they sound good for the size/money, but I'm taking these back and will probably replace them with another brand model. The best thing about them is that they are usb, so you don’t have to have a audio control in order to use these as your monitors to your set up. It doesn’t matter what kind of set up you have as long as your computer has usb 2.0 these will work for you. They are very portable also.

Quick installation and especially the price !!!!!
use in personal home studio and listen to speaker pc.
not need to amp configuration windows vista (yes I know vista alas ......)

Super good value for money, its a fine and precise, no need to equalize, see a little. bass boost function is useless it sounds already very good in the grave.
nothing to say about the installation and use extra easy!

except rub: there are cracking and a problem when power off but nothing nasty except maybe a small update from the Alesis driver .....

I use it for a few months
its fine, nothing to say, great quality speakers for this price! on the other hand problem I think it looks good to update the driver ....

I do it again this choice without hesitate
