Size, but not too much down low enough level of the spectrum, their reputation.

The frequency curve is sufficiently neutral?
Very well, I had a small dent in the top of the spectrum may be due to the acoustics of the room, but that was corrected by the filter 2 db.
The stereo image is good?
Exelente!
The sound is clear and precise across the spectrum?
Oh yes, it descends very low even while remaining clear.

Used for 3 years, I've sold because I do not have enough room in my new little studio ...
What thing do you like most/least about it?
+ The perfect sound, a working tool, very accurate but still''smooth'', very pleasant to listen, not tiring.

Did you try many other models before getting this one?
I had the BM12A, more powerful, I've sold for the sub BM9S BM5A +, to have more control over the bass, and I prefer the M5 to BM12, more balanced level of medium and low with the sub is something else ...
I also tried the Genelec 8030, Adam A7 ... nothing more.
What is your opinion about the value for the price?
At the time, it was the top under 1000 euro, a classic ..
Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice?
Yes, or rather, the BM5A mk2!
