Electro-Phoenix « too good »
Published on 07/03/13 at 03:48I wish a monitoring system for my home studio to replace my hi-fi PC 2.1 aging and inappropriate. with a very limited budget, I turned to the entry level and I was not disappointed with my choice.
the amp is built, but my XPS is connected to the output of my hand mixer.
I used when I'm training to mix (as a back) and of course when I record my songs.
SOUNDS
the system to a good frequency response, though can powerfully in low. it worries that easily adjusted thanks to the bass and tremble knobs on the main speaker (right)
sound makes really good mix wanted, the stereo image is good overall (outside environment gives the impression that the left speaker is stronger than the right one, but it is a little fault)
as a whole, the system to a good momentum, but I appreciate it increased the volume to be at the heart of my mix.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for about three weeks and I'm completely satisfied.
before my purchase I made a comparison of different systems in this range, it is ultimately the seller helped me finalize my choice.
what I love most:
-The sound quality for this price is quite exceptional.
-The ability to control midrange and treble, it will correct the excess low
-The price, truly fit.
-The design that fits perfectly in my studio environment
what I like least:
Slightly too low, the present
It feel like a stereo image slightly to the left (but as said above, the external environment plays heavily on this parameter)
I would do this choice without hesitation.
