11L PASSIVE VERSION

What technical characteristics have motivated your choice?
The power and very high bandwidth and beauty! it's very class

SONORITS

- Is frquence curve sufficiently neutral?
Then the neutrality level I t surprised !! j'tait went to buy Yamaha HS80
when the salesman I am a comparative Yamaha HS80 and the Quad 11L neutraliter quad was striking!

The sound is clear and prcis across the spectrum?

the sound is very accurate throughout the entire spectrum the tiny little weak point would be a little (little by little) lack of precision in very low frenquences

What is the particular feature you like best and least?

Being able to have my own way disconnecter the treble or bass to keep only one of the two to be even more accurate in some mix moin I do not know what's being passive little .. and again ..

Little magic box that highlights the qualities and faults of the other elements of sound reproduction.

SOUNDS

The sound comes out of the box quietly, no problem locating instruments, the sounds are very very rich nuancset.
The tweeter is not quality at the low / medium (surprising) and the curtains are not secous by low, but they are very much more than on B & W 603s2 (Sissi) and given the size pokey is a great challenge.
Another annoying default more (more serious and very serious) we want to have even better and is more difficult to meet the Euro exit.
9 I put it very few defects (if you do, forget about the other elements) and the transparency of reproduction, it's like in direct contact with the amp (do not forget the CD player, very important so, too.

OVERALL OPINION

Very good choice of quality evident hp low / medium and construction.
We can do worse, very easy, better? to look for and look good considering the price.
Personally more direct than my old B & W 603s2, more flexible, too, say warmer.

It's speakers are amazing for their size. Bass is accurate down but good anyway.
The yield relatively low (86dB) does in fact poses no particular problem. They are very good and therefore sensitive to the quality of the amp. I have initially used with a small NAD 311. Not bad. Then I took out an old Sansui AU-217II my cellar. Wow. The acute relaxes and has expanded stereo image. Awesome.

SOUNDS

Neutrality is quite good. A medium slightly ahead I would say anyway. But suddenly they are alive.
The stereo image is good, without achieving the best KEF coaxially example. The dynamic is really good, and remarkable power handling. It's worth adding them to a good amp.

OVERALL OPINION

I just buy them on occasion to 290 euros. These speakers, which were of a quality / price excellent in nine are a case in hand. But rare. The build quality is exemplary. I would do this choice without hesitation. In my opinion they are unbeatable for this price.
