I test the A3 for about one hour distributor of hardware in a pro studio - which STUDER - local Vevey - (CH). I had the opportunity to test them at the same time as A1 (see notice thereof).

In my case I was looking for pregnant active trs good quality for my home studio. INTERESTED primarily by large family of sisters STUDER - the A5 - I just wanted to even hear what the A3 offait. T and I just dcu.

These speakers two active channels are designated for the cost close. In terms of technical data, the simplest is to go for a ride on the site of STUDER. I put a 9 because the intended use is costing proximity.

SOUNDS

I test the enclosure with three CDs of music diffrent trs (acoustic / classical, pop, rock hard) - I had nothing else on hand. As with A1, Stereo image is very well rendered, and the whole remains neutral trs.

However dception the claret sound. Some are frquences mlangent (see opinion on the A1) and acute appear a little aggressive.

When the power, the same thing - I do not feel a big diffrence with the A1.

But it is certainly due the test room that is not optimized for the cost.

It is of good quality trs but below my expectations. D'o 9.

OVERALL OPINION

Certainly it is a dmo an hour so that decision can not have anyone using the value of the bte 6 months for 4 hours a day.

What I particulirement apprcier with this forum is:
- The quality (Switzerland) production and finishing impcable (some find it may be a little Austre, but I love)
- The neutralitbr /> - the claretbr />
What disappointed me:
- Feel lack of power

The power will not be enough for me.

That's what I'm going to turn to more powerful 3-way speakers (when I found a place to test the A5).

For CATEGORY is a definitely a 10, but I put 9 because I'm a bit short of my expectations.
