What characteristics have motivated your choice?
Power, ergonomics, aesthetics, brand!

For what purpose?
To complete my Tannoy's Reveal passive and I must say I'm satisfied.
I can not do without it, I realize as my sound was dull without the prior TS8.
I use only a few days, I learn to use it because it's my first, I believe that only the ear is "manual in history."
What amp / What configuration? ...
Tannoy's Reval passive receiver yamaha A100A, tannoy active sub ts 8.

I go out in the control room jack 6.35 from my console Tapco Blend 6 to entries in TS8 xlr this time, then exit in TS8 xlr to yamaha power amp in jack A100A 6.35.
The set is very homogeneous, the bass is ultra sharp.
on the other hand, you have to play with the gain of ts8 because it still spits out 200 watts, compared to Reveal (50 watts).
I highly recommend it.
I also equipped my home studio panel col'sound to correct the sound and the result is amazing with the TS8.

The stereo image is good?
EXCELLENT!

The sound is clear and precise on the spectrum?
Much more precise than before! But I repeat, MUST HAVE A PIECE very sound proof, OTHERWISE USE OF A SUB IS USELESS
