Best value:
Excellent
Purchased to listen my catch and prepare sound demos.
Used with a presonus FIREPOD
One would have hoped over the back markers as the only low-pass filter and levels.
SOUNDS
A frequency curve is never neutral.
Dynamics is observed on mid and treble, that there are no worries.
I find it a bit flat in the bass. I've heard better at this level.
The stereo image is really very good. I rediscovered what the center! There is therefore a very good "vision" of elements that are well mixe.Parfait to place a battery in space for example.
Matter of sound spectrum:
Very nice bass that are present without being invasive.
The mediums are rendered faithfully
The highs are less exceptional. It's not very crystalline. They are like softened.
Anyway, for the price, it can be excellent demos, or to its decision-checker sounds correctly
I would say they are loyal in the sense that, once I finished mixing a song, I made a respected over all other plays (Stereo, PA, headphones, radios).
In this sense, so I set these speakers as good as there is nothing worse than plays that do not understand what is being listened to by the end listener.
OVERALL OPINION
I use them for over a year.
Apart from the Yamaha NS10, Quested and large, I had not heard much at the time.
The NS10 does not seduce me.
The Quested are excellent but out of my budget.
These speakers are very well known because of the bad reputation of Wharfedale (Matos Chinese beginner to the poor quality).
Quote Wharfedale in the store sound system and you will laugh in your face.
And yet there they have done something very well.
Pros:
- Solids
- Good overall sound
- Faithful to the source
- Excellent stereo image
- Provides a nice overview of the results on other types of plays
Cons:
- A dynamic a bit flat in the bass
- The sharp enough crystalline.
For this budget, that's the choice I would do.
