Acon Digital announces the release of the Surround version of its Verberate reverb plug-in for Mac and PC.
Verberate Surround is based on the same reverb algorithm used in the original plug-in, but now supports multichannel formats (quadraphonic audio, 5.1 and up to 7.1).
Acon Digital adds that the early reflexions are simulated independently for each input to each output pair. The late reflexions use up to 4 channels in a quadraphonic setup in order to simulate fluctuations on left, right, front and back axis. Last, Acon used proprietary methods to avoid correlation of the output channels.
Verberate Surround is available in VST, AU and AAX 32 and 64-bit for Mac OS X and Windows. It is available for the price of $199 and trial versions can be downloaded from acondigital.com.
