Universal Audio models the AKG BX 20 reverb

Newly released UAD Software v8.3 adds a simulation of the AKG BX 20, a late-60s spring reverb.

This new plug-in is officially supported by AKG Acoustics. Universal Audio used producer Jon Brion’s own BX 20 to develop the virtual version.

As usual, Universal Audio added some features to the original device, such as decay, volume, pan, link, dry/wet, pre-delay and low-cut controls, as well as a wide variety of presets cooked by Patrick Carney (Black Keys), Vance Powell (Jack White) and Jacquire King (Kings of Leon). A trial version is available with the UAD Software v8.3 update, which is available for the UAD cards and Apollo interfaces.

The update also adds the Ampeg SVT-VR and SVT-3 bass amp models developed by Brainworx, as well as the Tube-Tech EQ Collection made by Softube.
