This mixer is really great as a summer for synths, and/or as a portable mixer (albeit a bit on the heavy side)
It really sounds like nothing else I have. Compared to modern mixers it's rather colored.
I'd argue it's best to use it for that film/cinematic sound.
Quite a interesting piece of French film history. Audio engineering of past decades at it's best.
